Not a morgue story but paranormal nevertheless. My mom passed in 2000. 12 years later, I have my first daughter. There was a night when my daughter was about 4 months old that I couldn't get her to sleep or to stop crying. So I laid my daughter in her crib and walked away for a minute because I just needed to take a breath. I took the monitor and walked off for a few. All of a sudden, I could hear my mom singing to my baby (who had stopped crying by this point). I ran back into her room only to find my child sound asleep, the rocking chair moving like someone got up in a hurry and the entire room smelled like my mom's signature perfume. Flash forward 5 years. I'm going through old pictures and my daughter sees one of my mom. She says, "Momma! That's Nanny! That's your mommy!" (I don't have any pictures of my mom out on display). I asked her how she knew that and my daughter tells me, "She sings to me when I wake up with bad dreams or when I'm sick. She's always there."

My grandmother committed suicide before I was one year old. At 3 I looked at a picture of my grandmother when she was about my age. I said "hey that's grandma" and walked off. Before my grandmother died she said she felt a special connection to me and I feel that connection to this day. BTW I'm her spitting image ❤

I'm a maintenance guy and one of the building I work in has a funeral sciences lab. They use donated bodies. I was changing out a few ceiling tiles in the hall adjacent to the lab.. Had my head above the ceiling grid to disconnect a 4"x4" electrical box from the grid so I could replace the tile it was attached to.. I heard a woman's voice say, "hello"... I replied, still above the grid and not seeing anyone, " Hi, how are you?" She replied with, "I'm very nervous." So I ask, "Why, what's wrong?" The voice responds with, "I think I'm dead.." I almost fell down the ladder at that point and was shocked to not see anyone in the room. I didn't finish changing those tiles out that day.

Not a morgue but a nursing home-had a lady with dementia who was always trying to leave and setting off door alarms. One night after she died the alarm alarm on a door she often tried to leave by kept going off with no one there. I finally said “ come on Ms Ruby I’ll let you out”. I went to the door, opened it, held it open and told her she could leave. No more alarm going off. Yes I do believe I let her out that night.

I worked in nursing homes for quite a few years, and it's so hard when you lose a patient that you're close to. It is scary, though, whenever you feel that they are still there or that they've come back. Having lived in a haunted former nursing home and was terrorized by the spirits there, then working in a haunted nursing home and being chosen as one of the people that they like to mess with, I had to leave that kind of work. I wish that there had been more people like you that I have worked with.❤

Three years ago my mother passed away because she had cancer. Days before she passed she was looking around saying her parents were there waiting for her. My grandma died in 2015 which was her mom. And my grandpa died in 2020 which was her dad. My mom ended up passing in July 2021. I truly believed my grandparents came to get my mother. I saw her take her final breath. I really miss my grandparents and my mother 😭💔. I feel like my mom has been visiting me through my dreams. Because after she passed I had a dream where I was walking through a street. I see my mom step out of a house and she was surrounded by an extremely bright light. It was like the sun was around her. I rushed over to here and hugged her. She held me and told me everything is going to be ok and that she loves me. I cry each time I recount my dream. I still dream about her til this day. I’m going through a lot right now. She would show up in my dreams to bring me comfort. I’ll never get over my mother’s passing 💔😭.

My great grandma was Cherokee and I still recall as a child when she explained “I’ll be passing soon. If you dream of me, don’t be afraid; that’s how I can visit you, even after I’m gone.” She passed when I was 9 and I had a recurring dream frequently for at least ten years of her coming to sit and talk with me. I still have the exact same dream (same setting and circumstances, just different convos) from time to time and I’m 41 now. My former FIL was also Cherokee and passed when I was dating my ex-husband; we were 17 and 18 at the time. My ex was just devastated losing his dad so young and he had nightmares for a while. Finally, one morning he woke up smiling, recounting a beautiful dream he had that he and his dad were on the Colorado River, in a canoe, talking about life and all sorts of things. About an hour after he told me this, his older sister (who lived in CO, two hours behind us) called and recounted the EXACT SAME DREAM, right down to the things they talked about and the color of the canoe. It was absolutely wild! Neither of them had nightmares after that and they all felt more at peace. I truly believe people can connect with us while we sleep. The subconscious mind is perceptive in a way that we aren’t when we are awake… sort of like hypnotizing. I hope you have some wonderful dreams with your mom and grandparents and find comfort in the memories you have with them. They sound like wonderful people who are still watching out for you 🤍

Not a morgue story, but I had a little chihuahua for 15 years. I got her during a very dark time in my life, and she got me through it alive. So when she died at age 15, I had a very vivid dream the night after I brought her body to the vet to be sent of for cremation. I was sitting at my computer desk, with her in my lap, like usual. But the room was dark, and I remember looking over to see myself in bed asleep. I even remember seeing the tv's little screen saver thing on. And I just spent the whole night looking down at my chihuahua as she slept in my lap, and I talked quietly to her. The only thing I remember saying was "you died" to her. And then suddenly the lights all turned on and it was like I teleported. I opened my eyes and was in my bed, it really felt like I didn't wake up at all, just suddenly blipped to my bed. The sun was up and my room was bright. I remember sitting up and staring over at my desk for a moment. On a more darkly comedic note, I had another dream of her around a year later, and in this one she rose from the dead as a zombie dog. I was so happy I didn't care, and I spent the whole dream hugging her and applying lotion to her skin because it was all dried up and her fur had fallen out. I was just so thrilled she was alive. When I woke up the first thing I did was laugh.

When I was a kid, my best friend had a dog named Blackie and this dog would always walk up to anyone she wanted attention from and lay her head on their lap. When Blackie died all her people (me, best friend, and both our moms) felt that big sweet girl lean against our legs and her head in our laps. It only happened a couple times but it made all of us feel like she just wanted to say "goodbye and I love you".

I also had a chihuahua. I think he had a brain tumor because he started just walking in circles all day. Then when he started screaming randomly we knew he wasn’t okay and had to take him to the vet. He was very old so I knew we probably wouldn’t be bringing him back home. I was waiting by the front door with him and my mom. My husband was standing on the stairs leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, just watching us. Then my husband walked in from the kitchen on the other side of the room. I did a double take and realized there was nobody on the stairs. I feel kind of dumb but I liked to think it was an angel. Because later I had a dream that a guy who looked like him and a girl came to me and said ‘both of your dogs are being so good, we’re watching over them until you get here.’ It was very comforting. PS The zombie dog with the lotion is too funny!

@@sunnyandthechloyour comment made me actually cry. I took my dog to the vet yesterday to get checked and this couple walked in with their dog and I got hints they were there to put their dog to sleep. I am VERY attached to my chihuahua and I always wondered what I would be like without her, so seeing them made me think of how I’ll be like them in the future and probably be inconsolable. But this gave me some comfort to hear, to hear that someone watches over the ones we love until we can see them again.

Worked at a nursing home (still work there now) and a resident of mine passed away on one of my days off. The week leading up to that she was off. She was usually an early riser, zip zooming around on her electric wheelchair or doing her nails to perfection or going to catch the DART bus. Anyways, the week before her passing she quit wearing her CPAP and wouldn’t want snacks (tortillas and cheese heated up in the microwave or spicy cup shrimp noodles) and she started staying in bed around the clock. I later found out that during the day she started giving away all her jewelry and stuff to staff and her fellow residents. When I came back and found out she passed I had an urge to just walk into her room. It had been emptied of all of her belongings and felt so hollow without her big personality. I just felt really sad for the loss and also sad because I didn’t get to say goodbye. I kept going up and down that hall all night to do this or that and when I passed her empty room around midnight or later the light above her door came on but there was no call light beep and then it was off. Almost like a flash and had I blinked I would’ve missed it. It never happened again. I poked my head in and told her goodbye and that I hope she’s in a better place and how much she meant to me. Now before I leave for my days off I also make sure to let each of my residents know I care for them and that they make my work so fulfilling and how blessed I am to know them, can’t take the chance of not getting to say goodbye again.

One night I sat straight up in bed because I felt someone run their hand across my back and shoulder. The sensation was still there when I became fully awake. My Mom used to do that. She was not a hugger. My hubby was sound asleep. I felt better after that. I started sleeping better. I felt like she was in a better place. 💜🙏

My best friend had a dream about her ex-boyfriend that she had dated in middle school that was the most vivid she'd ever experienced. He broke up with her without ever giving her closure, and they never spoke again, so she was not at all in the loop about his life beyond 8th grade. She didn't think too much of the dream, but she later found out that he had taken his own life that very day she'd had the dream. The dream was definitely a "saying goodbye" kind of dream. It gave her chills. Then a year later, her and I both had a vivid dream about him the exact same night (I had been friends with him at some point as well so we knew each other too). I remember being shocked to see him in the dream, remarking to him "I thought you were dead!". He said that no, he was fine, and he walked away. Part of me wonders if he was checking in on my best friend as well as what was closest to her to make sure she was doing okay.

The one about the grandfather coming back in a dream hit me hard as i had something similar happen. I dreamed about my grandpa even before i knew he died, we were sat at a professional looking desk, maybe because he was always working at his in life, but he told me he loved me and was proud of me but he had to go. I woke up with an odd feeling that day and strangely enough i wasn't getting any phone calls but some cryptic voicemails until i went out to the store and was able to get a hold of my mom ( his daughter) like the news had to come from her and only her. Granted i hated it coming in the middle of frickin Walmart but I'm literally sitting here in tears as i write this, that man was a legend in my eyes, old school marine till the end and who i miss everyday!❤

My momma passed away from pneumonia on December 21,2012. About 4 days before she died she had a major stroke and the doctors said that she wouldn't be able to talk because of the stroke. The day before she went on hospice me and my brother was in her room and my brother went to get coffee. When it was just me and her eyes became very clear that she was focusing on me and she said to me "Jennie, you will always be my baby." Then her eyes become unfocused and she never spoke again. The doctor said it was impossible and I don't think that my family believed me. I am the youngest of 7 kids and my momma knew that I needed to hear that. The next day she went on hospice and she passed away that night. She always said that she didn't want to die in a hospital. I believe she waited until we brought her home. ❤❤❤

I know it's not a person, but it was my old cat, Pissi. We adopted her after her old owner died in her apartment at the age of 101, and her granddaughter couldn't take her. Pissi was 15 when we took her in, and she died at 18 from kidney failure. I never got to say goodbye to her. For months after her death, I would hear things like her purrs or pawsteps and sometimes feel like she was rubbing against my legs, I also sometimes braced as if she was jumping into my lap randomly. We later adopted another cat and named her Pusya so Pepsi wouldn't be lonely, and so we could try to fill the hole. One night, I had the strangest dream. It was just me in a peaceful darkness, and a white butterfly. All I remember from the dream was it landing on me and then flying away before I woke up. A couple mornings later, I woke up to find out that Princess (who we didn't even know was pregnant) had given birth to two kittens, and one of them looked exactly like Pissi. We named her Pissi, and after that I didn't experience any of the weird things that I had for months. I don't have a certain stance on the existence of gods or ghosts or the afterlife, as I am agnostic, but I think something paranormal was going on.

Not a morgue worker, but a while ago I had gotten a small kitten because I wanted one that would sit on my shoulder. I loved that little thing. One day while I was at work she ended up falling into the toilet, I believe since she was wet when i found her, and was able to get out but still drowned i think im not entirely sure. I was utterly distraught and a few months of bottled up emotion came out all on that night. It was really hard to get past her, couldn't listen to most of my regular music because it would force me to remember her. Well one night I had a dream, it was a small one but it was enough, it was just her laying on my stomach and me petting her. One of my biggest regrets was that she died alone and I couldn't say goodbye or help her. I like to think she came down for that night just to let me know that she forgave me, and thinking like that helped me get better. I love and miss you ziggy.

I was the only one in my dream who could see him, and i was so frustrated that my grandma and others couldn't. I felt crazy. He kept telling me "it's okay, it's okay" and i remember screaming in my dream "ITS NOT OKAY!" and sobbing. He hugged me and i swear i FELT the warmth in that hug. It was so real. I woke up sobbing. Yeah, my daughter intends to major in mortuary stuff. She wants to be an embalmer but I don’t think there’s people who just embalm. We have to look a bit further into it. Also, I had to laugh at, “I’ve never worked around death or burial, but I used to live in a neighborhood in Dover, Delaware.” I know it wasn’t meant as a joke but the implication is that living in Dover is comparable to working with death or burial.

My first job as a nurse, I was living in Hawaii and worked at a nursing home. My supervisor and I clicked. I worked the overnight shift and I had one room across from the nursing station with a resident, Mrs. J. Sweet Filipina lady. One night, around 3 or 4 am, I heard her scream bloody murder. I run in and asked what happened. She said someone was touching her. Another a week later, she freaked out again. She said someone was pulling at her toes. She doesn’t have a dementia diagnosis, so I was confused. Four days go by, she’s screaming. This time, someone was trying to drag her out her bed. Someone was in the corner, etc. it was escalating. I told my supervisor that something weird happened again. I said to her, “there’s something in that room.” I found out later that they called in a priest to bless the room. Nothing happened after that, so I guess it worked.

Got two paranormal stories. One: I used to work nightshift for a call center before covid. Rumor had it that a lady had a heart attack and died years ago in the building so you could hear typing randomly throughout the night. I never heard it, but my coworker did. What I DID experience though was the other ghost we had no story on, but boy was he angry. We have no idea why but he bothered the night and day shift alike and hated anyone who napped in the breakroom. Fellow nightshift coworker took a nap on the sofa and got thrown off, swearing up and down that something punched her from under the sofa (she thought it was a rat which made the whole thing even more confusing because we don't have a rat problem and couldn't find any evidence of that). Usually though, the shared experience was jolting awake but having sleep paralysis. And even though sleep paralysis is famous for hallucinations, everyone had the same one of some creepy old guy glaring at them and the strong feeling to leave that room immediately. I probably really pissed the dude off because I would take naps every lunch break on the beanbag and get the sleep paralysis wake up alarm almost every time. Sorry my dude, turns out I got sleep disorders. I wonder if he's bored now that covid shut that office down and had everyone move out. Second story is more sad/sweet. I was in college shortly before Halloween when my parents called to let me know the family dog died. He lived to be 14 so it wasn't a surprise but it still hurt and I wanted to go home to mourn with my family. It's important to note that this dog was a poodle, so we had to take him to the groomer frequently to keep his fur short and they would often stick little bows on his collar or the top of his head when we picked him up. I kept every single bow. While packing and walking around my dorm room I stepped on the very first little groomer bow he came home with. I don't even remember bringing it to college with me and there was absolutely no reason for it to be on the floor at the foot of my bed. But my mom and I like to think that he came to visit me since I wasn't home when he died and left me a gift to say goodbye.

My best friend was an am staff. He was 15 when he passed. Aug 3, 2008 - Feb 11, 2023. After he passed, I had dreams about him. He would be running or missing and I'd be chasing him. When he was young, he had an obsession with lizards, "dot" which was reflections on the wall, lizards, and thought deer lived in the ground so he would dig holes to find deer. Anyway, the last dream I had of him was him climbing my mom's headboard, trying to get the dot. We were laughing at him as he tried to get it, and I woke up after telling him "Sissy loves you and misses you." My mom still feels his presence in her house. I miss him more than I've ever missed anything or anyone. That dog was my brother, my sun, my moon, and every star in my sky. He was my comfort and part of myself died with him, so I'm glad I got that amazing dream. He saved me from myself more than once, and without him, I wouldn't be able to stand on my own, and I wouldn't be the person I am.

I told her that we knew she was in pain. And that we felt her pain. I told her it was okay to let go. That she would live on in our memories and in our hearts forever. Two days later she passed peacefully. Her own family, couldn't give her permission to go. But that's what some people need. To know that they had done enough, that their love was eternal, and that we would love them as long as we lived and that we expected to be reunited when we ourselves passed. My grandmother always spoke with love about her first husband who was the great love of her life. I reminded her that he was waiting for her, and that she had a big job in bringing him up to date concerning everything that had happened in th 45 years or so since he passed. To this day, I can sill feel the hugs the people I have helped pass have given me when they were in better health. Death is ss much a part of life as breathing. If you have to let go, or encourage someone else to let go, do it with all tje love you can find in your heart, I promise it helps you, it helps them, it brings peace to a process that can otherwise be hard and ugly.

I remember the first house in goergia my family move into. It was a old house. Everything was fine but this one room which had a giant, somewhat black stain on the carpet in front of the mirror. My mother would try to clean it but It just wouldnt go away. Lived in that house for 4 years. Back then I was just a gaming addicted child so I was oblivious to the random sounds coming from the house whenever I'm alone. But thinking back there is no reason for subtle noise of plate clashing in the kitchen, upstair creeking from footsteps, and bathroom curtains moving. I would also sometimes wake up the opposite side of the pillow(that might me my sister). This one day i was waking up for school sitting on the couch, bent down to tie my shoe when i looked upward i saw feets pointed towards me. I looked up to see who it was scared but saw notthing. It disappeared. Thats when i knew i wasnt tweaking for no reason.

My childhood friend passed away a few years ago. We had grown apart over the last few years, but learning of her death was a solid punch to my heart. Like losing a sister. When we were kids, we often would have similar dreams and be in awe that we dreamed of each other at the same time, even though we lived a few miles apart. Syrprisingly, even as we drifted apart, we still seemed to have such dreams (as far as i could tell by stalking her Facebook at least). Now that she's passed, whenever i have a dream about her (and i have a lot of them) i like to think that it's just her way of visiting me. I miss her so much, but I know she's in a better place now.

I have a few paranormal experiences, but one wholesome one was when I had 3, my moms biological father died. She had just gotten home from his funeral in another state. It was around 3 in the morning when I woke up and crawled into bed with my parents. My mom had woken up and was helping me get comfy when I stopped and stared at the rocking chair in the corner. My mom was not expecting me to say, “Bye papa, I love you.” I’ve never seen a picture of this man. Ever. My mom jolts up in her bed to see her rocking chair stop rocking. My mom whole heartedly believes he was saying good bye, and that was the only way it could be done.

We have an entire grieving process in our culture including wearing black: coworker, school mate, a friend's family member, neighbour ect - from the death until the funeral grandparents, cousins, step-siblings, - 3 months mourning time siblings - 6 months to 1 year parents, partner, child - 1 year We had a brutal 3 year period where we lost 5 family members. We had so many black clothes it was absurd and were so hot during summer it was brutal.

Pluss a taping on door. When he opened the door i was eyes open trying to get out with him screaming zombies. This is second hand for mental fog but I would of loved to know what his face looked like

one night several years ago, my mom was sitting in bed getting ready to watch something on her laptop. she said the episode started halfway through rather than the beginning, and she heard a woman say "goodbye" she reminded back to the start, watched the whole thing, and never heard that voice again. come morning, we find out from my grandmother that around the time of the weird video hiccup, my 90-something year old great aunt had passed away. she'd gotten the call a bit before we stopped by to see her there's a lot more experiences from all sorts of family members and myself, but, that was the first one to come to mind! (brief examples: my mom's been hit, i've had things thrown at me, heard a woman's voice at our haunted local theater after hours when everything was shut down- and after moving into my 100+ year old apartment building my tv has turned on on its own and i heard someone knocking loudly on my walls😬)

I don’t know if I had just especially vivid nightmares as a young child but I can remember very clearly 2 hands above my head strangling me and one other time the crucifix (who puts such a creepy image in their young child’s room anyway!) on the wall floating off the wall towards me. I definitely remember screaming my head off with both incidents and I don’t think I was much older than 5. As a young adult, I had a dream I was a young woman in colonial clothes, in a line with other people. It was a firing squad line. I remember being shot, my body falling back, my spirit coming out of my body and flying over a river and then I woke up. I clearly remember having no fear whatsoever about this period of dying.

So the narrator says the story 35 was possibly sleep paralysis, even though the OP said that he: moved over to make room for the woman, reached over and held her, then bolted upright when his gf opened the door? 🤔 So where's the "paralysis " part of the explanation?

A friend of mine--an older guy who will not admit that emotions exist--was super sick and had to stay home and miss his own father's funeral. He felt (secretly) awful about it and couldn't let go of the idea that he had let his dad down. One night a few weeks after the funeral he looked out the kitchen window and noticed that the light was on in the detached garage. He figured the kids had left it on, but the garage was old and he didn't want to leave it on overnight, so he went out to turn it off. His dad was in the garage and told him it was OK, don't worry any more about missing the funeral. Then the light went out (without my friend touching the switch). He said it wasn't scary but he still gets a little apprehensive if he sees that someone has left the light on in the garage--apparently his dad was pretty opinionated and Friend would rather he didn't visit too often.

My grandmother who passed 4 years ago in 5th of February due to natural causes/brain bleeding/aneurysm(?) who I spent all my child and teenage years with and whom I have been very VERY close with died. I was there when she died. I knew she was gonna die but I was devastated nonetheless. She died the sunrise of that day and I was an emotional wreck for months. Constantly praying and crying uncontrollably and unconsolably. After exactly one year here I am at night ugly crying profusely but silently because I have missed her really badly and still do. I hear a voice; "Erbeğum,please don't cry for me,your uncle(died from lung cancer 2 3yrs before my grandma(his mom) ) and I are in heaven just like you prayed for. We love you." and walked over to me as I was frozen in shock. I tell her " You are dead. How??" and she told me "We had to make an exception because we wanted to see if you are doing ok" she walked up to me and I said "I can't take this anymore,I miss you both and my life is a mess" she sit at my bed side and hugged me then said "Everything will be fine dear". Caressed my hair and everything. She comes only to my dreams now very seldomly but I am grateful. God helped me through such hard times. There were times I wanted to alt f4 out of life before I found God. Now although still in a bad situation(parents seperated, classes failed due to this seperation and my gf of 9 mo breaking up with me for no reason right after we met and kissed and hung out for 3 days face to face) I still seek reassurance from the almighty God. May God's blessing be upon you all

About 2 years ago here in Vegas as a transport driver i had an odd experience. Basically i was at one of the regular sites or funeral homes i frequent, just taking on the keyboard logging in the info. When i felt a finger rub asking my shoulder. From the midriff by the neck towards my shoulder. I freaking froze for at least 15 seconds having shifted my gaze onto the blank monitor screen right next to the middle i was using. Nothing moved at all, and i had a full on view of what's behind me at this point. I'm a well lit warehouse style prep room this was a big no no. I realized there was no way anyone would have been able to touch me and not be in my peripheral. Long story short. I finished the log and thanked God i had already placed the decedent away. I had my boss take me off that site for months to say the least. After 3½ years in the business I have nothing but live for y'all in the field. But I'm on hiatus for a while baby

Hospital story. I was hospitalized during a bad migraine. My migraines have stroke symptoms. I’d lost vision, couldn’t keep water down and collapsed. The hospital was packed so I was in a big room with beds and curtains. There was a guy staring at me across the way. I assumed he was with another patient, but it creeped me out. I asked my grandfather to stand in the line of sight and gestured with my foot who I was talking about. My grandfather did as I asked. My brain was swelling against the inside of my skull. I was delirious, and coming in and out of consciousness in agony. I had to be sedated as they were concerned I was going into shock and might add a stroke to the equation. Morphine did what she does. I went home. A few days later he told me he never saw this man I gestured to, though he had a clear line of sight. The whole corner was empty. He was a detective. He keeps watch on everyone. I described what he was wearing, how he was standing, what he looked like. Nothing. He believes I saw death checking me out to see if I was ready.

A few cases. My granny's father had passed away in their home the day before, it was autumn but a warm day, so they had the doors outside open. Suddenly, granny and her mom heard clearly in his voice: "I'll be off now, bye." Granny asked her mom if she had heard that too? She said her mom was pale as a sheet and just told her to be quiet. She also said that some time after when her youngest brother died, she heard his footsteps upstairs. Thing is... those could have been just the beams, but still... (I've lived in that house, you can hear a fart from upstairs...) Third encounter granny had was when we were babysitting my little sister when she was a tot. My uncle died a few weeks after she had been born, so he only saw her baby photo. Granny said as she was bathing my sister, the air suddenly got really cold around them and my sister almost started crying. Granny said: Honey, please, you're scaring your niece, can you go away? She said the air warmed and my sister settled. My wife had an experience of a deceased relative visiting. She was 10-ish, when she saw a shadow figure, a tall man in a trench coat and wide-brimmed hat in the corner. It was there even after she had hid under the covers and re-emerged. It had gone away after she asked him to go away, he was scaring her. Upon telling her mom, we learned it was most likely her grandmother's first husband, who had died in the war, he had been a tall man and his daughter had been 10-ish when he died, the room had been hers. We reckon he had wanted to check on his daughter, but maybe the passage of time is different. The said daughter has passed some years ago, so they are now together. A psychic medium confirmed it was him, but there had been another male ghost visiting as well. That has gone unnoticed though. Unless my wife's nieces or nephew have seen something.

My grandfather and dog died within one month of each other. The day my dog died, I had a dream that I heard sounds out my backyard. My dog was by my side as we both checked it out, I looked to my left and saw my grandfather walk up to me. I sort of froze up as he walked over and smiled at me before patting my dog. The two of them would then walk away.. I cant really explain it too well to this day, maybe it was just a way for my mind to cope with losing two of my most loved family members in such a short time.

This is more funny than paranormal. I had been on the job for about a year, I loved it, I was usually the only one in the embalming room it was nice and quiet, the other embalmer was there mainly during the day. It was around 9 pm and the Funeral Home was closed. I was getting ready to embalm a man, he was in his 30's, clumsy me, I dropped my trocar, I bent down to pick it up and I felt his arm fall on my shoulder, I figured I hadn't secured his arms tight enough, so, I tightened them up, you have to be very careful when your securing a body, they can stiffen up on you again, I started to push the chemicals through his body, I dropped the lid to the container and bent down and picked it up, his arm fell again. Well, let me tell you, that was the quickest embalming I've ever done. While the chemicals were doing its job, I was cleaning my area, when the process was done, I did a quick check to make sure everything was clean and sterilized and high tailed it out of there.
