On turn 4 the hero ranger could not have charged the model at the back as it would have moved into the 1 inch control zone of 1 of the front models first and hence has to charge the first model whose zone was entered. He could have charged around to the back side of the first model (since the base would fit through) but must be in contact at the end of the move.

Rangers of the North have 1 attack at the start. They can get upgrade which is listed as "Specific hero upgrade" which means when you get 5 exp you can roll on charts to get upgrades or get this specific one. :)

For "the hero of the model participate a battle" they mean the match, if a model plays, even if he doesn't fight, he gets experience... If it wasn't like this archers would never advance

Just a note that I’ve not seen mentioned elsewhere… each warrior gets an experience for each battle they participate in. That means each GAME not each combat phase. So they would each get 1 experience

I'm here for Battle Companies! I feel like there's too many battle companies to keep track and it's sad to see one cool one already dropped away. I would not mind getting rid of tournament and watch you guys both having one or two Good and Evil companies you could alternate using.

super excited for this series. You guys should move the losing battle companies from each match into a losers bracket so that they arent gone forever. The whole point in battle companies is to have them go through at least a few different scenarios to have them build up. Side note, Rangers are supposed to be the strongest battle company by a wide margin

I play Battle Companies lot (currently 8 games in to a big map campaign with a mate of mine), so good to see your others are playing as well. A few things I spotted: 1. Companies do not get army bonuses (so the rangers would have only had 1A each to start with). They can later on take the army specific hero upgrade when they have gained enough XP (instead of rolling on the chart) 2. Keep a check of the 1" control zones - (I forget about it all the time as well and its easy to miss) 3. When rolling on the Influence chart, you can spend additional influence points to increase the value rolled. So in the goblins case, they could use the last point of influence to increase the roll to a 2, giving them a goblin with a bow (and salvaging something from a horrible roll). We keep track of the wounds caused during the game and add the participation/hero victory XP at the end (because injury's can cause some headaches, speaking from some of my experiences) I'm a fan of the pen and paper tracking as well, but this website really does help keep companies organized: battle-companies-manager.com/ Got to say though, very nicely organized and filmed. Love the models and paint jobs. Keep it up!

The army specific hero bonus is an upgrade. Your ranger shouldn't have started with 2 attacks, so that first round of fighting might have killed your leader. Also, I don't think the goblins can climb into a control zone, but once the first was in melee, that wouldn't have mattered.

You should look into expanding your team, ands a lot more variety, you can have more fun and divers tournaments and on top of that, games of mesbg take a while to play so with more people on the team you could get out more videos

Doing a great Campaign from the Expansions would be better than Battle companies, the rules don't work great for BC, it's like a poor Kill team where as the main game is the best GW has ever done.

The thing is on battle companies you have 1 leader 2 sergeant's and all others are warrior's. So the rangers of the north are all heroes but you have 4 montels so one of the must be warrior. That's my logic, i dont have read all the book to know the rules one this but i will place one more there for me. And i am not sure for the special rules of the armies i think they follow on the battle companies, cause minas tirith can shield wall is an army rule so if the +1 for goblies is an army rule i think come over on the battle companies too. That's are more my opinion and not the rules to be clear i dont know if i am right or wrong. Nice try to play this for me i will have escape from the other direction and play with the trees and run as fast as i can the rest of the company meet with the leader!! So lets see the next maches. EXCHITED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
