This is a very healthy Dal Tadka recipe using the superfood “Moringa (drumstick) leaves”. This recipe serves 4 adults. This dish can be eaten with rice, roti, or as is.
Ingredients
Moringa leaves - 1.5 cups
Moong Dal - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Onions - 1/2 cup
Tomatoes - 1/2 cup
Cilantro - 1/4 cup
Green chili - 1
Dry red chili - 2
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp

I love making moringa leaves balls. Recipe. Cut moringa leaves in tiny slices and mix with normal pancake mix, add pinch of mix curry powder, pinch of salt and deep fried. Once its cooked , deep in tamarind chutney and eat. Etna sawad laghe. Very tasty.

while adding whole chillies, green or red, it is advisable to break or twist each of them so that they have a crack or opening through which hot oil seeps in to. That enhances the taste of chilly. The person eating it might even squeeze the piece of chilly so that inside oil comes out, and that tastes additionally delicious.

Instead of using water can we use green coconut juice as water. And add ginger powder too and curry leaf, dalchini powder and dhania leaves for taste.

Dal is overcooked.cook it less. You can add 2tbsp grated coconut at the end to add taste.
