Diction is the very most important element in singing. Every singer should precisely pronounce or enunciate every word they are saying. This applies to all singers around the world especially when they sing an English song. You may have the highest vocal range but if you sing English song w/ accent still is not impressive. But, this lady has no problem singing foreign songs. Honest observation...sorry!!!

"Circles on the water" is in Russian and I highly recommend that song. I just want to say that I completely relate to your (lovely wife) comment regarding how she felt disconnected in the beginning of this song. I, myself being Filipino who understand the lyrics, didn’t quite hit me from the start until she started pouring more emotion into the song (although heart breaking song it may be).
