The only nourishment the church allows is milk. Milk before meat, only the meat is never delivered. The problem is the human body is only meant to drink milk for the first year of life, then we tend to become lactose intolerant to a degree (some more than others.) At that point, the milk becomes harmful. We need the meat but when we start feasting upon that meat, the truth crisis of the church emerges. Really loving your stuff! Yes and yes. The meat is never offered and many wait their entire lives for it. I am currently lactose intolerant so I get it! Thank you for the support!

Many years ago we had Christmas sacrament meeting programs. He reminds us that those enjoyable meetings with music and prose had to stop! One of the mean things done to serve up boredom, instead. How would that testimony of Jesus gone over without the Gift of the Maggi story of exemplified love, as a lead in? They could admit their scripture as stories and be more like Jesus.

I'm so sad to see this kind of influence out there for our youth. It reminds me of Alma the Younger before his conversion experience. Yes the wheat and tares are left to grow together at this time until the fruit ripens. That is our society today. What matters is who are your heroes? Who is speaking truth and who seeks to destroy it? Which side are you on? Are you willing to do the spiritual work required to rise with Christ in the building of a beautiful Zion or will you create mischief trying to tear it down? In the end, whom will you serve? We all have choices to make and values we desire to stand for. Yes, for now it's mostly milk for young people to help them get strong enough to do the heavier lifting that will come as they mature in spiritual strength. The meat is found in the Temple, temple covenants, temple ordinances, a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ for those who want more. It takes most of us a lifetime to build the strength required of our Prophets. The principles they teach are true.

I went to the temple hundreds of times. What exactly is the "meat" of which you speak. The masonic rituals just seemed strange to me.

How then does the church explain the general authority who made up stories of being a pro baseball player and more. He did this in conference talks? Spirit is easily faked.

Paul H Dunn. I thought about this too. So many felt the spirit when he spoke and he was lying through his teeth.
