The way she dances while playing, the sound of the Choir, the sound of her music sets the setting or sends your imagination on an adventure through a mystical forest of the unknown where anything can happen. It's so graceful and it really helps if your feeling sad or hurt. Thank you Lindsey Stirling for healing us with your music of pure beauty.

the feels I mentioned before is definitely the Spirit of God, testifying to me that my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought people of all diversifications of talents to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to have received the knowledge that I have a loving Heavenly Father who has blessed me with the talent of piano playing & pixel art. The latter of which I've had no experience whatsoever in doing before I started it. The former I've been blessed to learn compositions by ear

I went to see this exact performance 7 years ago with my family (We're somewhere in the audience), expecting a performance like any other from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I didn't know who Lindsey Stirling was at the time, but I thought she was absolutely incredible.

Moved beyond words!!!! I never thought my favorite modern musician (Lindsey Stirling) would collaborate with one of my favorite choirs. Imagine if Lindsey added lyrics and Erin Morley joined them for another beautiful rendition!

Well it would have been cool if Lindseys solo violin was actually heard! What was that person in charge of sound doing, she was almost lost in other instruments.
@AcheliusDecimus9 жыл бұрын
+Petr Novák Are you using an earphone, stereo speakers, mono speakers, regular computer speakers? For on my surround sound system, and my earphone her violin soars through my ears. The choir compliments and the music supports (a bit oo loud). However the violin is heard clearly all the time for me personally.
@MrSpock-wt8py8 жыл бұрын
It's not up to the sound people. she herself has to play loud, which is a hard task.
@PrettySquid7 жыл бұрын
You could hear her violin a lot better in person.:) It sounded amazing! The video doesn't even do justice of what it really sounded like and how uplifted my soul felt while watching her perform. I wish they had a professional recording of this! (idk if there is one or not)

This sounds like a the soundtrack to a movie. Lindsey, would you ever consider providing the score for a movie or doing more of your songs with orchestral and choral accompaniment? I also noticed the tempo is a little slower than your original version, I like it.
@amyreesor81288 жыл бұрын
this is incredible, I LOVE this... only one major complaint... Linsey was not loud enough and the orchestra and choir overpowered many parts of this or it would have been EPIC! Since she is doing a solo part though the volume on her part needed to be jacked up a bit more so she could hold her own against the other awesome parts! :)

I had the opportunity to see this live in the building and it actually sounded like 50x times better. The voices didn't overpower her violin as much as this video. The crowd got a lot of violin :) It was so beautiful and gave me major chills. It's always better in person for some reason! :)

What a nice venue to bad she was drowned out by the orchestra and the chior had to listen real hard for all the subtle notes.
