Morning Mail Time, A Sheet Pan For The Auto Feeder, Upset Daddy Boo - S3 E54

Lucky Ferals Season 3 Episode 54. In this episode:
Day 879 Let’s open some packages during morning mail time. Thank you to Janet Stemper and Deaux Chat Noir. We had a little bit of snow. Hydrox was hanging out by the back door. Birds have been eating out of the feeder. Hydrox likes to lay in the sun. I got a pair of winter croc type shoes. I tried a metal sheet pan with the inside automatic crunchy feeder. It worked better than the plastic tray.
Day 880 The cats had some morning crunchies. Let’s open some cards during morning mail time. Thank you to Evelyn Stafford, Wanda Spradlin, Victoria and cats, EJ, Ray Kisner and cats, and Zoa Langford. Boo was very concerned about the crying kitten in the card. His paternal instincts kicked in. The food in the outside bowls was frozen.

My cats agree if your family you will end up covered in cat fur no matter how much you try to avoid it. I can not complain having very long hair it also gets everywhere at times and they try clean my hair whilst I sleep if allowed. If its catnip we all end up covered in it as well. Good daddy Boo was very concerned about the kitten in distress. Look how careful he was walking around the cards, without knocking one over.He seemed to be looking for the kitten.

Aww, Boo was so concerned for the kitten in the card. Nice Mail Time with packages and cards. The reverse advent calendar is almost full. It’ll be fun to see how the cats will learn the best way to go after the indoor dispenser crunchies. 😻💙💙

It is interesting that out of all the cats Boo was the most concerned with the kitten sounds..Stella of course being 2nd most concerned.Their crunchie dilemma was interesting to watch to see what they would do.

We all learn from each other on this channel. Its a good resource for all cat lovers. In winter you could try a food for outdoor cats, it has extra amounts of nutrients and fats so they have the extra energy to help them keep warm. Thankyou for looking after your feral cats and making their lives a little easier. Love, purrs, cuddles and kisses or a hello to those who can not be touched yet. Oska as a former feral sends advice to all ferals to find a good safe home with someone you can trust and love. Even being a yard cat is easier than being feral.

Donna-Louise Cave Thank you so much for your reply. Mine are named Momma Cat (about 2 1/2 years old) and her daughter Little Girl (about 9 months old). Wise advice from Oska. I think mine are getting used to the idea of being based in my back yard, but they do seem to also frequent one of my neighbor’s yard. Thank goodness she and her husband like cats. My neighbor on the other side has theatened to report me to the City. Luckily my city does not pick up feral cats and will actually return them to their territory since they’re microchipped under my name. The City also covered 100% of the spaying, rabies shot, microchipping and ear tipping. I know some people don’t like the ear tipping but it actually protects them from being trapped and hauled in multiple times.

@@wap9137 you live in a good city when you can get all the help needed to help feral or stray cats neutered and spayed for free. The clipping the ear on TNR cats is currently the best solution to tell easily which cats still need help. People may not like it but can they think of a better way to see quickly which cats need help still? It is stressful to any cat to be trapped but they can release the ones not needing the trip to the vets asap. Oska's advice comes from 11 years as a feral and 13 years as a house cat, she is a very lucky girl and has the right to share her thoughts on which is the best way of life. I thought she would only be a yard cat but she decided to move indoors and I promised her a home for life.

That last card from Zoa and Marty was so cute...it even made Stella and Boo reunite with a kitty kiss! Maybe it reminded them of when they were parents outside. Was Simba perhaps jealous about the "kitten" trapped inside the card----maybe that's why he bopped Boo, but he did that before while you were opening cards. The first time you warned him, he innocently nibbled on a cardboard box as if to say, "Who, me?" ;) Boo was being so sweet as a concerned father. What a nice mail haul!

Evelyn Stafford's card is wonderful! Finding a Christmas card with Santa and his cat companion is an impressive accomplishment. It's nice to see that all the indoor cats are as civilized as cats get. Indoor cat #1: Bap! I'm top cat. Indoor cat #2: Bap! No, I'm top cat. Outdoor cats: When Ditto requests and eventually receives permission to share LF resources, they co-exist, but never as equals. More typical is a potentially deadly fight for exclusive access. With people, dogs, and cats: You assert dominance and treat a dog well, and it will be devoted for life. A cat, you must seduce into trusting you, and if you offer sufficient bribes, it will consent to do part of what you want.

10:17 I'm not sure those prints on the right are cat. They look more like raccoon. And BTW, Stella wasn't looking to get into the automatic feeder--she was waiting for you to turn your back so she could re-program the feeder.

The card from Zoa was cute and 3 cats concerned about the kitten meows. Simba was trying to protect the kitten from Boo. Boo was not always gentle whilst playing with his boys whilst they were kittens. Oska reacted to the kitten sounds in a protective way, Cleo does not react at all to anything to do with kittens.

Mail time with the cats plenty of cards and dry food for the cats. The crunchies feeders will not be empty for a while. Boo has finally found out the reverse advent calendar is not for him, he will start removing and hiding the food soon he needs all those cans of food! Boo loves canned food and Hydrox and Ditto already eat enough of it. Oh Boo, there are too many cats who get no food and need help they are not going to be around LF's house or garden. The cat shelter will use it for cats who have no home and help find homes for the cats in need of help. In the past all LF's cats needed that kind of help. There will be no shortage of food for any cat that LF feeds so no need to worry Boo and plenty of your Christmas presents will also have food as well.
