Ok, getting back to cw after a 30+ year break. Is 72 a separate thing from 73 or just a mistake? I hear 72 sometimes, not 73 in the qso's.

72 is the QRP version of 73, because it’s one less. Or some silly reason like that hah. It’s just a fun way to know when folks are running low power without sending /QRP

Sry bout that, i just couldn't get in gear for some reason, lol. 73 neighbor De KO4WHX Edit: also i didnt answer the ?? Because your signal went from ab a 599 strong signal right into the noise floor with some short lived qsb and i couldnt tell who you were talking to and then your signal came back up.
