I used to have fundraisers at my home that were attended by as many people that are attending these riots... I had a half dozen bands in my backyard... I even provided beer... My fundraiser began at 2pm and ended at 10pm... That courtesy was to be sure my neighbors were able to put their children to bed at a reasonable hour and as a courtesy to law enforcement so I didn't get a, "Disturbing The Peace," warning or infraction... Why can't these protestors give that same courtesy... Start and end their protest at a reasonable hour and not threaten Jews that have nothing to do with Gaza...

Their mistake was putting up those tents. In doing so, they allowed the universities and the police an opening to muddy the waters and divert attention away from the purpose of the protests. Now the universities and the police can say, "We don't have a problem with the protest itself, but we do have a problem with them violating safety regulations and protocols". When you do something like this, you have to do it the right way or you'll end up defeating the purpose of the movement. It's like cutting off your nose in spite of your face. Without those violations, the universities or the police would have no logical reason to interfere with protests, and they would have to acknowledge that they have a problem with the protests itself.
