Thank you. Very clear and perfect for a morning session. During Anuloma Viloma I need it a bit more time to exhale as is normally double length than my inhale 😊

Happy you enjoyed it! Yes, lengthening the exhalation is super relaxing when you've practiced for a while. This is the all-level variation with equal length in and exhale 😊

Thank you! The breath is something I struggle with. Normally, mine is very shallow and I generally feel tense. Developing an asana & meditation practice helped, but my breath remained stiff and uncomfortable. I’m grateful I found pranayama, as it’s the step I’ve been missing. Thanks for being a guide for those wishing to be happier!

Are there any inhales on those strong pumping exhales in the second exercise? I find it hard to exhale ten times on one slight breath-in 😬

There are ☺️ it’s an active exhale (with the contraction of the abdomen) and a passive inhale (with the relaxation of the abdomen)

Oh that can happen. You can try sitting on a chair with a straight back or maybe take a few moves and stretches here and there ☺️

Oh wow so much dedication, amazing ☺️ you mean in the skill shining practice? Pulling the navel in helps with exhaling forcefully and rhythmically. Is that what you meant? 😊

@@yoflaminga 5:00 sharp yeah? Love the exercise, it doesn't last too long. I would like to do some yoga moves but I'm not willing to spend more than 20 mins. So if you have a video of 20 mins for both breathing and yoga, that would be great. Also, I'm a cyclist so I really enjoy the sitting posture. Thank you! 😊

ok so these are abdominal breaths, not the kapalbahti, good you mentioned the minute 😊 drawing the navel in here helps to exhale more fully and engage the abdominal muscles. Im intrigued to make a shorter video that includes both, probably around 25 min though. Until then maybe you can combine some of the really short videos (there are even 10 min videos)

@@yoflaminga thanks, I had a look, but it's still not clear. Do you breathe in between each exhalation? Or do you take a big breath and do the short breaths on an single out breath? You do it so quickly I can't tell.

@@youaretall123 The inhalation happens naturally - it is a passive inhalation that happens when relaxing the abdominal muscles after the forceful exhalation. So, there are little inhalations in between the exhalations but not active ones. You can imagine it a little like blowing your nose into a tissue - there will be an inhalation after you blow out but you wont actively pull the air in. Idea is to breathe out more than in. Hope that helps
