I love how you enjoy your chickens so much. All this time, I thought I was the only crazy person who sat and had coffee with the girls. Great videos.

Thanks so much, yes we love spending as much as our time with our babies. Got to pick them up and give them pets daily as well. Love watching them it’s so peaceful and their individual silly personalities

I love this!! It's great to see how others do their thing with their chickens and more. My dog is the same with the food since she was a pup.

I hate to admit it but I’m growing flowers and veg just for chicken snacks 😂 #spoiledbirds. I love how your birds are so tame and friendly. Mine are a little leery, even though I hand raised them. Beautiful birds!!

Hi there Bock Bock family 😁 I know this is a older vide but I’m a new subscriber and now binge watching your videos. Your chickens are beautiful and I love the fact that you are raising them as pets and not to send them to freezer camp. Great videos 😁 Great content👍🏻 Oh and I like your ELO shirt. I was a bit surprised. You look very young to even know of them. Please don’t take that as a bad thing. Because it’s definitely not😁 My children are in their 30’s and have no clue who that band is😂😂

Thanks for watching and finding this video! We are going to post an updated one hopefully coming soon 😊 thanks so much we love them like dogs, they are beloved pets to us, family. Haha!! I’ve heard that before I love classic rock and classic older music in general. I pretty much mostly listen to music from the 60’s & 70’s. (Also love classics like Frank Sinatra) 😁 ELO is one of my all time favorite bands and I was lucky enough to see them live during the 2019 tour and got this shirt then 🥰

Your crested chicken looks to me like a cross between a french black copper marans and a crested cream legbar.

I know how you feel about those waterers… I switched all mine to low 8 quart pails … I think they are about 8 or 9 “ tall and the chicken lover them. I used them for my ducks too and they loved them… i had to have about 10 of them for 9 ducks though because …. Well you know ducks… they would get pretty dirty. Even with a pond and a kiddy pool
@BockBockBouquet2 жыл бұрын
Lol we love our ducks but they certainly quadruple our chores! If we just had chickens our waters would stay so clean. But I clean the waters daily, we’ve added more waters and more ducks since this video so I’m always cleaning them out. Their cute silly faces and quacks make it all worth it!

Hi I follow you guys very informative. The outdoor sink where does the used water in the sink drain to? I’m very interested in getting one for my chicken yard.
@BockBockBouquet2 жыл бұрын
It was so easy to set up! We have a garden hose running to it and we have a pool vacuum hose as the drain and it’s just running on the ground at a lower elevation point. As long as you don’t run harsh chemicals through the sink (soap is fine) you can even collect the water to water your garden (we have been thinking about filming a video on how we set it up) it’s made cleaning the chickens waterers so easy and no more breaking your back bending over
@lulusworld99802 жыл бұрын
Hi ! New subby friend here ! I love your videos !! Learning alot since we just got 2 Easter eggers and 2 barred rocks. Where did you get the outside sink ?
@BockBockBouquet2 жыл бұрын
Hello thanks so much for watching! We got the sink from lowes or Home Depot, can’t remember which, but it’s a utility sink. We have it hooked up to the garden hose and we drain it on the ground with a pool vacuum hose

At 0.32 seconds you open the lock of the run, I would appreciate if you could tell me from where I could buy one of it as I have a similar setup but I didn't know that such locks existed. Thanks
@BockBockBouquet2 жыл бұрын
That just came with our run we bought, we linked it in the description. But just the gate lock you can find at the gate hardware section at lowes or Home Depot , etc. 😊

Is it okay to cut chicken's wings so they won't fly
@BockBockBouquet2 жыл бұрын
Yes just don’t cut too close to strike blood down in the quick of the quill of the feather. And be aware it is harder for them to es some from a possible predator once clipped
