Morocco earthquake: the race against time to reach survivors - BBC News

Rescue workers in Morocco are racing against time to reach villages in the Atlas Mountains which have been hardest hit by a massive earthquake.
The Red Cross is warning of further disaster if food and water do not quickly reach survivors.
The number known to have died has passed 2,000 with many more in hospital.
Many countries are sending aid and relief workers to help with the rescue efforts.
The earthquake measured 6.8 on the Richter scale.

My heart goes out to everyone in Morocco, especially those who have lost loved ones, of course. I also am deeply sorry for those who are abroad and cannot find out if their families are safe or not. That would be one of my ultimate nightmares. I hope the countries who have the ability to help, in whatever way they can, set aside any internal differences and send that help immediately. There will likely be secondary quakes, but don't mistake that for less intense, or less dangerous ones. Some have proven to be worse than the first. So the sooner all the equipment, food, water & shelter get to these poor souls, the more lives will stand a chance of being saved. Blessings be on everyone affected by this tragedy.

God says that we are all sinners who need to be saved from hell and that no amount of good works or behavioral changes on our part could ever make us holy enough to enter heaven. God sent His Son Jesus to pay for all of our sins. Jesus paid for our sins by dying on the cross for us all. His dead body was buried in a grave. On the third day, Jesus arose from the dead. The instant you believe this, He knows it and He saves you from hell. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me hath everlasting life”(John 6:47). The free gift of Heaven is based solely upon your trust in what Jesus did for you and has nothing at all to do with what you do for Him. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
