I have read the Book of Mormon many, many times and I have learned and studied so much of Joseph Smith and his teachings and life. He was a good man and I love him so much. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, I love the brave men and women who follow God do good. I love them so much. I love the Lord with all my heart ❤ He is so good, and all the wrongs in our lives will be made right someday because the Savior lived and died for us to have hope and joy. For 34 years now I have read my Book of Mormon almost every day only missing 63 days in that timeframe. I love this book. And during this last year when we have been urged by our prophet to Hear Him, I can testify that we can be closer to God than ever before. We can hear his voice helping us solve the problems we face and prepare for the future. It is through the Book of Mormon that we know that we have a prophet, that the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints is God‘s chosen and appointed church on the earth today. We have the priesthood and the ability to be sealed together for eternity. We know that the second coming of Jesus Christ is very near and that we are about to go through a great deal of tribulation and persecutions but we will be able to survive It all by staying close to God, and this book is the best way to do that. I pray that you will read this and take my advice and counsel. It is true!

I got baptized and had to stop smoking cigarettes and one person that really helped and god with prayer was Elder Dean Parker a missionarie young man he really saved my life made me feel like someone cared and I always wanted to stop smoking cigarettes it killed my grandparents my mom has problems copd so I was destin to get it worse due to smoking menthols I wish he would have been the one to baptized me but he was called to another city but I did it a month later I kept my promise I would do it for god and if I stop then I will know the Book of Mormon is True so I put to the test and it answered me I stopped cold turkey on Easter Sunday. I just wish I had a real baptism I had to do it with only 2 from the church 2 elders and my wife on zoom one of the first and only ones baptized during the evil lockdown in April May

But in case you still wanted to know, it’s James 1:5. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” It basically communicates the same things as Moroni does here: if you want knowledge and wisdom, pray to God and he will answer your prayer.

For The passed several years I’ve been inactive and foolish, but feeling such an intense urgency to be who I used to be, and strong desires to become a better person has kicked in. I’m truly grateful for the gospel and the endless opportunities of asking forgiveness, that the Savior has given me through his sacrifice. Geez. The tears running down my face right now. I have felt so spiritually dull for a while now from facing anxiety and some heaviness from all the crazy things 2020 has thrown at the world. But this. This just reminded me that I am not alone. Moroni has always been a prophet I have resonated with so strongly. I can't imagine how lonely things must have been for him and how devastated he was when he watched his people fall. But he was faithful and believed until the end. And I want to follow his footsteps. That transition from him to Joseph Smith about killed me. The Spirit was so strong (obviously from the amount of tears running down my face right now lol). I am so grateful to know of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and my testimony of the Book of Mormon has grown stronger and stronger this year alone. I hope you know that God loves you and is aware of you, and that Jesus Christ truly is with us all, especially in those moments when we need Him most. Love you all!

This book saved my marriage and preserved my family. Having grown apart over the years I resolved to humbly ask my wife if she would let me read to her from this book. She agreed and we read at least one chapter aloud every night. Before long she read to me too and we began to discuss what we thought. Within the year we finished the Book of Mormon and began the Doctrine and Covenants. Finishing that we continued through the Pearl of Great Price and the Holy Bible each night, together, as husband and wife; father and mother to our children. Somewhere in there we fell in love with each other again. We abandoned accumulated resentments. We gained greater understanding together. We saved our family through the spirit of Christ. I know these books are true and came to us with great sacrifice. We still read to each other and testify if your marriage and family is in jeopardy they can be saved by doing as we did. The invitation of Moroni is really powerful and specific. All is needed to know the Book of Mormon is true, is having "real intent" when praying for knowing whether or not its the word of God; just ponder in your heart its teachings and set aside human reasoning to let God enlight you with a testimony of its true by the Power of the Holy Ghost. I know the book of Mormon is true because of the Holy Ghost and not by the teachings or persuasions of any men.

the Spirit has touched me watching this, both Mormon and Moroni are powerful men who had to watch their entire people fall because of the adversary and unbelief. I love how we have many heroes in the Book of Mormon who we can look up to for power to carry onward. I have never read the whole book from cover to cover, but from these videos, the animated versions from living scriptures, and every witness I have had has allowed my to understand that this is Christs true church here on earth, and no force in heaven or on earth can change nor deny it. Every time civilization has progressed is because of the Light of Christ. think about it, during the time since the end of the church in the old world after the apostles death to the time America freed it's self from Britain, so hundreds of years of slow progress but, since the book of Mormon was published and the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints was established, progress in every bit of society, from electricity, to the Internet, only someone who is blind to the truth would miss this, even the romans were advance in their day with inventions and many other things. the power of the light of Christ has allowed me to write this down for millions to see thru KZbin comments section here. I have walked those woods at The Hill Cummorah, upstate New York.....and on 29 July of 1977 I watched, "The Hill Cummorah Pageant", I will never forget those two days of being on that SACRED GROUND. I have begun reading from the Book of Mormon again. It's been over a year since I've taken the time to read the scriptures for myself. I, too, was spiritually dull for too long and have a desire to get back to God. I am up to 1 Neohi 3 now, but I was pondering on how honoured Moroni must have felt to witness the fruits of his labours and be the messenger to tutor Joseph Smith about ushering in the restoration of the fullness of the gospel. I have missed reading and studying the scriptures. I have missed feeling the Spirit. And I miss watching these videos. I love it! Fantastic representation. Here's what I'm thinking. Moroni was all alone and on the run for a really long time for his own life. What a unique challenge he had to go through. What did Moroni do doing that whole time? What did he learn? Why would God put Moroni through that? Maybe just to eventually safely deliver the plates to the hill Cumorah where Joseph Smith would be? That seems like a good guess. But that's just an thought to entertain. Nothing really important there, other than the teaching that God has his purposes for how things happen. I just don't have the understanding or vision to see what it is.

Ryan, That is true, and also it is true how these wonderful gold nuggets of wisdom contained in the Book of Mormon, can help change human nature into the children of Christ, and beings capable of perfect love for God, and all mankind! Just think if everyone learned from, and applied the righteous teachings by prophets contained in the Book of Mormon in their own, and in many others lives. The world would be a much more Christ centered place. If we would all study the Book of Mormon daily, and apply these teachings, the plagues of xenophobia, which includes those of sexism, nationalism, and racism, would be much less than they are now. One example is 2Nephi 26:33 "and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile." I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and contains the words of Christ in some of the most powerful ways that can be taught to mankind!

I thought this part would be at the end of the BoM videos, but I expect we'll see more in the future. They should include the following stories: 1. Helaman's commandments to his sons Lehi and Nephi. 2. The preaching of Nephi from his garden tower (including the murder of the chief judge). 3. Nephi and Lehi in prison, protected by a ring of fire. 4. The abominations of the people, and the signs of Christ's birth and death. 5. The appearance and ministry of Christ in America (this one is a no-brainer). I hope there's more, but that should be a good start.

I expect those topics will be shown in future episodes, whenever the next batch is released. Personally I wish they'd do the war between Captain Moroni and Amalickiah. I'm currently reading through those chapters and would love to see the night and day difference between the righteous leadership of Captain Moroni and the treachery and downfall of Amalickiah. But judging by their direct avoidance of the more violent parts of the Book of Mormon (and hoo boy there are plenty) I don't think they'll go near those chapters. Which is quite a shame, since Captain Moroni and his Title of Liberty are among the more iconic figures in the Book of Mormon.

Love it also!! This is the promise land talked about throughout the Book of Mormon. The Hopewell are the posterity of Lehi. The Hill Cumorah in New York, is the final great battle site between the Nephities and the Lamanites. And, the final battle grounds of the Jaredites as well.

I dunno man. The beginning part still looked like a rainforest to me. they’re still hung up on Moroni walking from southern Mexico being chased by Mayans. Felt like the opportunity to show the most poignant symbolism was lost. The Book came out of the ground where the Nephite nation fell and died. It’s rich, it’s true, and it seemed tainted to suggest otherwise. I know they’re trying to satisfy a mix of people, but they really shouldn’t.

Julie Wood did you know elder talmage in 1905 did soil samples around the hill cumorah every fifty yards up to five miles out from the hill. And what he found was shocking. About 9-10 inches down there is a 4-6 inches of white dust, calcium Posphrite, essentially human bone dust. Then 8 inches under that layer was a 8-10 inch layer of human bone dust. So the top layer is from the Nephite destruction and the bottom layer is from the jaradite destruction.

I like this video. He was a lone witness but your never alone with the Holy ghost as your companion.Being a wicked guy alone is a whole different ball game so he was still blessed being without people that walked with him that he saw because you can communicate with God. If we are humble we can communicate with the holy ghost who speaks for God and we speak back. Omni speaks of communing with the holy spirit
