Mormon and Moroni really had to sacrifice to get me that book.

We need a 4 hour movie of this story (and Moroni's).

Preach! Mormon's story is absolutely heartbreaking and we just sorta gloss over it.

18:05 "And now, I do not know all things; but the Lord knoweth all things which are to come; wherefore, he worketh in me to do according to his will." Words of Mormon 1:7 Mormon Suffered Much, but Never Lost Faith. We are Forever Thankfull to him for the Record he made which God Preserved for Our Day.

That look between Mormon and Moroni at the end is heartbreaking. They'll never see each other alive again, and they know it.
@SAM-td4yv3 күн бұрын
I disagree! They know they will see each other again in the next life. They are heartbroken over the number of brothers and sisters Nephites and Lamanites who will not be saved because of their wickedness.

Excluding the visit from Jesus Christ, this may be the most moving video the church has made. I love Mormon, his story needs to be told, and I owe him so much. My life would be vastly worse without what he has told the world.

I enjoy watching these videos, and it helps with having a visual way of learning what is contained in the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is definitely written for our day. There are so many teachings of Jesus Christ within the Book of Mormon. Thank you for providing these valuable videos to help those who learn through visually.

This is incredible and it reminds me no matter what we hear to always hold fast the iron rod until we meet our god in heaven. Never go down to the level of the devil even if everyone is against thee

This is such a cool video! I love the portrayal of the Book of Mormon women in these videos, like Mormon's mother and Captain Moroni's wife ❤

I'm so thankful for the Lord and Joseph Smith and the holy ancient prophets who gave their lives to preserve this sacred record. The Book of Mormon is real and the lives and miracles and blessings are true. Jesus Christ has returned to restore his ancient church and will return yet again for the New Jerusalem with his people of Enoch and Zion shall be.

Seeing the annihilation of the Nephites because of their wickedness, Mormon's heart is broken beyond comprehension. His works during these difficult times bring eternal blessings to mankind. No wonder why the book is named after him. The book he abridged contains a powerful witness that Jesus is the Christ, the living Son of the living God. What an astounding portrayal!

What a wonderful recollection of these people . Great reminder to all of us what we need to do now. Specifically during this times of sorrow, sadness, uncertainties of our future. Hang on to the iron bar and move forward. God, our Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ is with us. NEVER LOOSE FAITH, we will be ok.

This video was amazing. One of the (if not the) best Book of Mormon video. Watching this video followed by the earlier released "Moroni Invites All to Come unto Christ" video back-to-back was a great and moving experience

This is so sad but so important to remember. Mormon's faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to recording his people's history was central to us receiving the fulness of the gospel!

I was looking anticipating this video today, until I realized it was posted 3 days ago. My mind is in wild places. There seems to be so many pressures being placed on me and no matter how many times I pray and read scriptures it gets more confusing. I love the gospel but I just have so much to do

While I was watching this video and when Mormon found the Sacred Records I found it to be almost similar to when the animated Mormon found and read the sacred records in a scene in The Animated Stories of The Book of Mormon: Mormon and Moroni; first at 5:00 the entrance to the cave, secondly at 5:12 seeing the sacred records, third finding the Liahona at 6:05, fourthly at 6:13 finding the Sword of Laban, fifthly at 16:34 The Introduction of the original Nephi, sixthly at 5:30 Mormon reads about King Benjamin's Famous Speech, and the seventh and final comparison is at 6:43 Alma the Younger.

He was 16, not fifteen when he was asked to lead the armies of the Nephites (Mormon 2: 2). Vey nice video, but editorialized somewhat. No video could do this book full justice. Open the book and read it yourself. You can get a copy for free~

It said it was his 16th year, so he might not have been 16 yet. Kind of like how President Nelson is in his 101 first year.

The book of Mormon testifies of Christ and against the LDS Church. I know that the gospel is true but the church is not.
@josephhughes48554 күн бұрын
@bobicusrex How does it testify against the church?
@SAM-td4yv3 күн бұрын
What?
@NeilYoungHorne2 күн бұрын
That doesn't even make sense. If the Book of Mormon is true, the Church must be true also. The gospel was restored and The Book of Mormon was translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was also inspired to establish the Church and call other leaders to carry on the work with him and after his death. Therefore, if the Book of Mormon is true that means that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, which then means that the Church restored through Joseph Smith-by God's power and under the direction of Jesus Christ-is also true
@Reach_for_the_Stars2 күн бұрын
With all due respect the correct name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I testify that it is: The = one and only, Church = organized religion/government, Of = elements of, Jesus Christ = bringing to light man's eternal life and salvation, Of = elements of, Latter-day = last dispensation, Saints = God's chosen and Christian people.
@naofumi56162 күн бұрын
You would have to explain the “logic” you used to come to that conclusion.
