To give you a hint: there is this other famous scene in which Neo goes to see the Oracle and sees the group of gifted kids with one of them bending a spoon with his mind. Neo asks him how he does that and he explains that "there is no spoon"...

The Matrix was finished after one movie. The system was surprised by its popularity so released the sequels in order to dilute the message. The sequels are good action movies but they add nothing substantial to the lore. I have 4 but haven't watched it yet. In the end times we are living, I expect 4 is a direct attack on the premise of the original if nothing else.

The matrix is just Plato’s Allegory Of the Cave. Morpheus is the Philosopher who had escaped the cave and seen true reality or what Plato calls true beauty. It is only the Philosopher that has dedicated himself to wisdom that can even catch a glimpse of the cave exit.
