Hi Tom, I really appreciate your interview with Donald. I have studied perspectives from the Mystics, Eastern Philosophy science, spirituality, and religions. It is really apparent that all are trying to describe the same undesirable source. Many mainstream religions have fallen down a rabbit hole but still have meaning if we just dig deep enough or reinterpreted what the original messages were trying to tell us. Donald knows Rupert Spira and Bernardo Kastrup. Both also have really interesting perspectives. Thanks again for sharing this fascinating interview,

You want to understand something that resides beyond that, but to understand you first need to interact with it, and your brain is not of help in such endeavour. By you insisting it first needs to be filtered through your brain in order to get validated you will always face the wall, unable to cross it, no matter how much you try. Someone who meditates , someone who observes nature closely and reflect on it can get it. But you cannot go beyond space time using the same tool that is confined into space time. You're going to have to entertain the hypothesis ( just for a little while at least) that the brain is a headset, an amazing one! but to explore behind the headset while wearing the headset is not the way.

I didn't listen that far to hear "the attachment to this avatar and the fear of death" but I do know I've been warned "Do not fear" and I take that into consideration. Survival here is not the mission, since in the end we don't survive, but to reproduce more to live in this realm of survival. The Matrix/womb needs bodies to produce energy for it's survival .. we are its fuel. This is a place of reproduction for the benefit of the Matrix, not our own. We are used and abused by it for the small pleasures given us to think this existance is for us. This is an up-side-down place where the lie is our truth. It is said " this is not our world" and this Truth has been turned into a lie. We value this avatar, the means to exist here, and we fight death to exist and survive longer in a place that is not our Home.

My favorite analogy is thinking of the one consciousness as the a black crayon or the color black. It contains all the other colors but when you view it you only see the one. It splits into the dimensions and all the other potential realities (the spectrum of colors/frequencies) to experience itself. Simple as that. It would seem that if an energy held all possibilities inside itself it would be almost a compulsion to want to “view” all those different possibilities…which from our level of understanding are infinite. Our life experiences and what we choose to observe are just an expression…one of the infinite possibilities. It’s kind of the same compulsion we feel to view movies and the experiences of the characters…or to hear stories about other peoples lives. I love thinking about it this way because it means that no experience is wrong…just an expression of the one…the black/dark energy/potential. He did an excellent job explaining a very difficult to comprehend topic.

@joyfuljourney6953 Жыл бұрын
@@tehdebil thanks! I went and googled and saw a great explanation of how this works. “Light is additive color and paint is subtractive. When you paint something green, you're not exactly "putting green" on the object but instead putting a substance that reflects only green and absorbs the other colors. Thus, our eyes see the object as green. If you mix all the colors of paint together you get black because you've created a substance that subtracts (absorbs) all the colors and to us, an absence of light is seen as black. With light, you're combining colors and not removing them. That's why when you mix all additive colors it's perceived by our eyes as white. So if you think about it, white light is the most colorful color.

This is one example what Hoffman is talking about. The main optic nerve passes through the retina, creating a small area that does not contain any light-sensitive cells called "rods" and "cones." Because of this, there is a corresponding blind spot in our visual field. However, our brain is able to fill in this blind spot using information from the surrounding areas of the visual field, creating a seamless visual experience.

Tom!!! You have to make a video on the possible connection between the head set and NDE's, it would be an amazing conversation. Please research this study done on thousands of patients who flat lined whi were able to prove that they were aware and to see what took place while the staff worked on them. in my opinion, people who had near death experiences, are able to get out of the cheap head set, they report that they are out of their body and can see in 360 degrees and, they do say that they can see things with a highly clear vision even if not in their body. They also report that the moment they think of a place, they are there. This scientist is right. You have to think out of the head set because that is where our consciousness is, not in our physical brain.

It's great to hear that Donald mentions Eckhart Tolle, since Tolle is one of the few persons (still possessing a headset), who can teach us to put down this headset temporarily while still living and breathing and enjoy pure being (instead of requiring joy and attention for particular reasons of your physical representation). The basis of fear and agony in life is identification and clinging to the illusion of constant personalities, beliefs, dogmas or paradigms. You don´t need to understand life to enjoy it, you have to learn to accept unconditional being without reason or specific desire. Or as Joe Dispenza would say it: You have to learn to become no one to be able to be someone!
@rhondalollar1117 Жыл бұрын
Inner monologue: this is how I view this world and life; you come into this world curious and learning, so the first topics are who are you and who is your support network, so self identification then outer identification, second you learn what you are capable of and expand on those subjects then you keep adding or subtracting (depending on your focus and evolution) then you find out that every decision you make has a expression and a reaction, both yours and everyone else's, also ripples of consequence into the reality you are in (depending on what you do and how you do it) so then you think to yourself "hmmmm, I wonder what so and so would say, or do, or how would they act and react to this?" Then you do it or say it and set it in motion then you wait to see what happens, the polarity comes from good reactions or bad reactions, AKA favorable or not favorable, so you are learning in a way what is considered the natural rhythms as well as recording what to do and what not to do and different ways to go about and then self awareness and expansion. I wonder if he knows about the admin-recoding of reality through meditation, intention drawing and manifestion.

My theory is that we 're simply aware that we're aware, contrary to animals and other living organisms, so it FEELS like we're in a simulation. Also, it's important to note, that our brains process ~11 million bits per second, so in order for us to function efficiently, we need to filter out what most essential. For example, catching a ball on time without being distracted by every little detail around us. In other words, If anyone is "hiding" a deeper reality from us, it's our own selves, for our own good 💡

You’re comment made me feel so much better! I agree. Rather than saying our experience is “fake”, there has to be a purpose behind this function of viewing only what we need to view. We also have other abilities that are non tangible and in some cases unexplainable as of yet with concrete proof. We are so much more than meets the eye, but not in a way that diminishes purpose or our experience.

By meditating, you'll be able to see the inner functions of reality through a different dimension, life will look systematic. Within, you will be able to reconfigure your purpose by means of absolute awareness. If you do every single thing consciously (talk, walk, eat, work, listen... etc.) you essentially have complete control over your path in life. Unfortunately, the majority of people live blindly and in unawareness, groping in the dark. Being on autopilot is much easier on the psyche than it is to be fully conscious. If you are not in control, the matrix is... and your path will be set to default. Seeing the true workings of this matrix means you will be able to have a bird's eye view of this game. The problem is, you will also see the meaninglessness of it all.

There is space between the person and the ultimate self so naturally you begin to feel detached from pain and pleasure you still feel them BUT they don’t cripple you because the person is no longer there it’s just a passing cloud you learn to let it go. When I’m meditating I just feel joy peace and contentment. If you want to give up suffering you’ll have to give up life’s pleasures too that’s the paradox of samsara. There’s just a happening left and the ultimate self. Choose your pill wisely not everyone’s ready for the truth pill 💊. I can see why so many remain bewildered in samsara. But this pure joy peace and contentment is really above and beyond everything my little person has experienced in her short time.

From a die hard atheist as I can describe myself for 8 years, I guess something brought me to watch this and at the same time connect similarities to some nde experiences I watched. Plus so many signs I got over time and I connect them now in a very perfect way. 8 years ago when I left religion I left it because I didn’t buy the story of religion and I didn’t buy any story to be honest, I still don’t . Because we are in a classroom not courtroom as most religions make u feel. Althu each religion has its own perspective of god which is correct sometimes but it’s not the same as any believer can expect. There’s for sure a reality to be exposed when we die, but we shouldn’t fear death because there are two options only , one there is this peaceful limitless happiness reality waiting for us which I feel, and the second option is just we will vanish which means no sensation. In both possibilities we are good. Lately I’m feeling different , I’m treating people differently, I’m taking care of so many things I missed out before. Now I can relate with feeling I had during doing shrooms when I was an atheist, I knew this is not a brain function alone. We existed then we are loved nothing more but we in these limited bodies and brains are struggling in this life from fear and ego. Our first trauma as humans is death, once we overcome it we will learn to love and care for each other

@SkySartix for some people and their "Alternative Facts" it's simply what they say that is "true" - which is obviously self-deception. The fact is that the "illusion" is still Real, because outside of that illusion there is nothing you can comprehend. It's like the difference between Zero and Oblivion. Zero exists as an arbitrary placeholder (an illusion) - yet Oblivion is impossible. Therefore, by analogy, "True Reality" (like Oblivion) is also impossible. Try studying the Vedic Tetralemma and you will begin to understand.

It is either that the reality is way too complicated for us to recognize and understand, OR our physical setup is simply NOT designed for the purpose to do so. Considering that we might be just a vehicle for the germs to move around and travel significant distances and we were historically enhanced beyond that purpose and we should not even be concious enough beings aware of this design constraint, this whole concept maybe quite close to reality - which means that reality may not be complex, it is just not for us to understand.

What you believe definitely alters the fundamental reality. That’s why people who believe negative things have a terrible life and people who believe that only good things happen to them or they believe that whatever happens is neutral and that their belief about it will yield a positive outcome in their life. I’ve personally experienced this to be true in my own life. That is why when 3 people are together and an event happens, they can each explain something totally different that happened and it’s not that one of them is right and the other two are wrong, it’s that their beliefs allowed each of them to see something different based on their individual beliefs. The matrix gives us each proof that what we believe in life is true or we could not each have a true reality experience.

In a flash of total awareness (that ended up lasting years) I experientially saw, knew, and WAS the total awareness. I appear to be playing a role as “Gillian the human female” but I’m not merely that. I’m a seemingly embodied slice of this great god thing, interacting with other seeming embodied slices of this great god thing. Absolutely. There is only one thing happening, and one thing that we are- conscious experience. Radiating out and bringing radiance in (and through) all the time. That’s what the god thing is. A totally spontaneous, always new, whirling and churning discovery and destruction machine- and we are living it. In all unpleasantries and glory and pain and tragedy and beauty and profound joy and chaos. It’s all even, balanced, and whole in the great infinity that is the god thing. No “evil” and no “good” can taint it or harm it… it does it all in perfect imperfection. And there is no void. The void we imagine is simply the base level reality. Where things can become or dissolve. It is a space (somewhere, I believe, that we don’t usually think we have access to- but I believe we are always in it!) of infinite potential and possibilities. The place that experiential qualities or flavors wait, behind the scenes, to burst into expression in the “vr headset” that is this so called waking life. Whatever it is, it’s so very elegant and incredible!!! I just love this man for looking at it, and I love that science is starting to crack the egg open. ❤🎉🔮💫

Essentially we think we gain understanding of our verse by looking through a limited lens with limited understanding of what the lens is, and eventually we will see enough through the lens that we can understand that we have yet to open our eyes to begin with. I like what Donald said about space/time. I have been thinking about space time as though it's a window with a limited view. If we can redefine consciousness to better understand the reality beyond our limited space time window then we could better understand how immediate awareness effects the scope of said window, allowing us to open the window or at least remove a filter.
