Make it work again. Great idea . Nice informative video , well presented. Lots of old farm trucks here in Canada. I did this with my mothers old Mercury farm truck. Never did look pretty but it worked fine.

Gidday Martin, glad you enjoyed the content and thanks for leaving a comment 👍 you live in a beautiful part of the world and it’s been my absolute pleasure to work beside a number of amazing Canadians over the years. It’s been my experience that Canadians and Australians share a very similar sense of humour and a strong “ can do” attitude which is born out of operating in remote environments. Top job reviving your Mothers old Mercury, just makes it all the more special when there’s a family connection and it doesn’t matter what it looks like, just matters that you saved it 👍 I owned a 1969 short bed Canadian F100 many years back and regret ever selling it, had the Canadian 6cyl and was unstoppable!!!! All the best from Tasmania and kindest regards JC 👍😉

well im in England i have a reliant 3 wheeler. You might be curius why a reliant owner would be intrested in old morris engines. simply put if you could imagine a slighty modified morris engine only built out of aluminium then you have the 850 reliant engine some motor sports events will even allow a reliant engined morris in the sports trials. i thought that you might be intrested to know that little nugget

Hey Chris, didn’t realise that mate but it makes a whole lot of sense as to why the engines might be desirable for motor sports….are you talking about the Reliant Robin?? I know they certainly copped a bit of an unfair rubbishing by the boys on Top Gear but I suspect you probably are the proud owner of a future classic collectable 👍👍👍 have a good one mate 👍😉JC

@@morrislcrescue yes mate reliant robin and the realto. Yeah the top gear show actully rigged it to tip over with axle displacement and weights Clarkson admited it after they left. dont get me wrong they can tip but youd have to be a bit of a fool and over steer hard while cornering. and to be fair that would crash a 4 wheel car as well

@@chrislewis4830 ahhh yes all in the name of television then 👍 100% right doesn’t matter how many wheels it has😂😂😂 …I’m going to call it mate, Reliant Robin future classic car 👍👍👍. Cheers JC

Hi Gulam, thanks for your feedback, I’m not sure the translation came out100% though, we are going to try alternating between outdoor recoveries and workshop repairs over the next few episodes and there will be more detail focusing on what basic tooling you might need to set yourself up with in a later episode. The tools I have in the workshop have been gathered over my lifetime, some of them handed down, some purchased over the years (both new and second hand ) and there’s a lot of odd tools for specific jobs I have simply manufactured myself. Appreciate you reaching out and hope you can join us for more fun in the coming weeks👍😉kind regards JC
