@silencekit I hope he's OK.Ive been looking online but I can't find any info as to how he is. His 2 weeks resting on Drs orders for exhaustion were over a week or more ago. I was surprised when he didn't take a proper break from 40 years of Morrissey tour. He's 65 this year and the schedule he has been on would exhust a much younger man. I saw him last Dec at Palais in St Kilda and he was wonderful.

I was at his concert last Dec at Palais Theatre St Kilda and he got really angry with one of the security for being heavy handed with the fans. He told him to get out and find something else to do!!. Mozzy loves his fans. We love him back. I hope he tours here again. That being said he needs to take care and not over do it.

I am kind of rare in the sense that I found Morrissey's solo stuff before his stuff from The Smiths. So I listened to all of his solo stuff first and then went back and listened to The Smiths. We loved the 80s music, we visited local new wave clubs and we enjoyed all that 80s music era had to offer, the best era in music. The Smiths was one of them and we loved them. A few years back, I am driving my daughter to the airport and she goes, do you mind if I play something that I really like, so I said of course. She played this song by the Smiths. I go, wow, the Smiths. She responded asking how do I know the Smiths, but my question was, how does she? Amazing and timeless music and she was completely unaware of me knowing about them and loved the music, because it is great music.

@Obi Wan Shinobi , I wasn’t trying to exchange riddles at all, but have you answer 2, 3 questions to help shape the way I was going present it. Anyways, In summary, while the action of vaulting oneself onto the stage is, yes, traditionally what happens at ‘Morrissey’ concerts it seems. How I can tell that at least this one isn’t entirely genuine, however, is because of the excessive amount of people vaulting onto that stage. Today, it’s being done selfishly, for the most part and not out of this “immense love” for the person (especially if the much younger age of the person is considered). This is just one of the many examples of this masqueraded sociological thing pervading.

I was ay a concert 11 years ago, maybe 10th row, he came to the stage and said “come closer”,we threw the chairs to the back and there was Morrissey 3 feet away. He loves his fans.

I'm not the biggest fan, but mad respect for this guy. Been doing it for 40 years and kept his integrity. Song is one of the best of the 80's for sure.

When I first hear this track, pre internet days, i didn't know what it was called...and i kept on looking at different CDs hoping to find this tune. It was much much later i hear it on the radio where the host mentioned "this is 1of that unique track where the title of the song is never mentioned anywhere in the lyrics...!" Donno how many countless sleepless night I spent like many of u listening to this track to go to sleep... an amazing tune that puts u in a hypnotic state of mind that u simply can't get out of... The fans crawling on the stage and how Morrissey is embracing them is just a proof how cool of a musician he remains after 4 decades!!!

Remember drinking in the BBC bar after the Smiths had recorded on top of the pops circa 85-86. Mozza was sharing a drink with management. Though he had a presence back then, I didn't realise he was going to be the legend he is today back then. Huge band, huge artist.

What a truly amazing thing to experience! These fans simply LOVE Morrissey! They almost can't contain themselves. And he is so gracious in allowing them to show their affection, by coming on stage and hugging him. I think this is the end result of two years of near isolation for a LOT of people. This pandemic, and its ENDLESS lockdowns, has taken its toll on the human spirit. Maybe absence really DOES make the heart grow fonder...? We have all been absent from SO many things. PLEASE DO NOT LOCK US DOWN AGAIN!! "We are human and we need to be loved..."
