@@Pollie410 you cannot not recognise Morrissey's tweaks and touches. Like the hey or yeah that's shouted after each chorus and the brave heart-celtic like viola sound. Brilliant

I encountered some right miseries and stuck up prats in pubs beforehand and not many sociable people in the queue. I did something I had never done in 40 yrs of gigs on Friday. That was to walk away and go back to the hotel. Wasting £50+ on a ticket was preferable to wasting 2+hrs of life in company of 13000 of the same type of people as I met earlier. Il stick with you tube and cds, leave morrissey gigs to the clique that are his fans. Sorry but if I've offended any "worshippers" the truth hurts, it was an awful atmosphere being among them. The show was no doubt great but a lot of the fans weren't.

@G D Yeh, was meant to be my first morrissey solo gig. Only ever saw him in the smiths in the early 80s,people were more ordinary and not up their own arses in those days. Simply couldn't face well over 2 hrs in same building as some of the types I encountered beforehand. So abandoned ship, my Mrs thinks I'm mad wasting ticket money though.

I was at the que in leeds, im 30 my first morrissey gig, im a die hard johnny marr fan. But you go for the music not the douche bags. But i suppose if youre well off enough to waste money go for it.
