Yes ppl 2tbs of salt..... remember you are using 3cups of flour for the breading therefore the salt that would remain in the spice mix u put in the flour will be proportionate to the flour. Additionally kfc original is bit salty

Chef Adrian, what I really like about your show is the fact that you explain the method in details, while preparing. I learn something new about cracking the thigh allowing the blood to expel from the socket during frying. Were you a teacher at one point. Your food ALWAYS looks delicious too. Love your kitchen decor too. Thanks for sharing

First time commenting on any of your videos. First time making any of your recipes. I just finished making this recipe and, OMG, I'm in like. I have been trying to make breaded fry chicken for a very long time and no matter what recipe I used, it just didn't turn out right. This recipe, OMG, is incredible. I can't wait until my husband comes home from work and tries this chicken. He loves fried chicken and so do I. Thank you very much for your videos and that trick with popping the bone of the thigh, perfect! I'm excited to try some of your other recipes. Again, thank you.

I making this, this weekend. It's official Edit: so I made it yesterday for dinner (along with the popcorn chicken to go with my peas n rice (you call it rice and peas), potato salad, and crab salad) and it was great! I will admit, I did 2 tweaks (I'm a marinater so I can't season, bread, then fry all in one sitting. It don't sit well in my spirit 🤣🤣). So, I edited the amount of salt from 2 tbsp to 1.5 and used complete seasoning for the other half of tbsp (my mom is borderline hypertensive so I didn't want to include too much because I was cooking for her as well. I just wanted to be extra careful). Also, since this was not being done in one sitting (like the video), I did allow the chicken to marinate overnight. That way I know that the seasoning will get to the bone. Either way, it came out great. Taste amazing and will definitely make again (when that bbq and spicy version comes out).
