I spent two weeks during a Christmas season at a fancy resort in Negril. They served lots of really good European style cuisine. It was good, but the best food I had was at the airport on my way home. Two of those locally made Jamaican beef patties almost had me staying for another couple of days, just for more of those patties. I'll never forget them. I'm going to try to make these your way. Thank you Morris.

Lol it sounds so funny calling it pie. A jamaican would never guessed in a million years you are referring to a patty. You should try it with cheese, omg it's the best, not kidding.

Excellent recipe. You are a gifted presenter…and after a few hours of following…I’m finally starting to understand what you’re saying. You remind me of my Scottish friend…I have no clue what they are saying much of the time. At first I could not understand a word…but now can follow you fine. I encourage other viewers to git it time….it’s worth the effort.

I'm watching him make his dough...that's the process I use to make mine and also my biscuits and hand pies. I need to do a video. However, I like to add a touch of curry and turmeric powder in the meat mix and dough. Love it.

Thanks for the recipe! It looks great!! Since I am losing my hearing and the closed captions on KZbin are so terrible with anyone with an accent, I set the speed setting at .75 and I was able to keep up you and understand what you were saying. Now I won't have any mistakes when making this recipe. 😊
