@@tdadventures If you are passing through Illinois, the southern part of the state is heavily forested, hilly, and beautiful. Garden of the Gods and Giant City State Parks are some favorites. In northern Illinois is Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks. Do the southern part of the state in fall, spring is very rainy, and summer is very hot and humid. Middle and northern Illinois weather is ok in spring, nice in fall, sometimes hot and humid in summer.
