We stayed there once many years ago. There's a great small sea food restaurant across the street in the harbor parking lot. Get there early because they fill up fast for supper. Someone stole my GF's camera at that campground and another camper had his generator stolen by five finger discount. I guess because the street is literally right next to the camp sites anything goes. The staff was of no help. A little further north is a much better campground right on the beach called the Strand.

The Morro Dunes RV park is cheaper and better as well

Yes you should get decent signal there. Most sites are a bit close together, but the campground makes for a good home base to explore the area. Enjoy.

Cool Man! The hiking trail begins within the campgrounds? I also have dogs and would love to hike that elevation. Thanks for sharing
