If you are going for rough stone you can mine the feldspar from the goblin area just south of Crom Castle. The goblins have these pots that are normally under trees that are surrounded by a ring of stones. Many of these stones can be mined and each ring has 4+ mine-able stones. There are several of these rings so you can find a few and run between them for unlimited mining. Wapra or the "fruit juice guy" is a material vendor so you don't have to bring the bottles with you for the ranch dailies. You can just buy them from this guy.

As an added tip, if you're planning to do Olvia dailies, pick up the rock quest at Loggia Farm THEN go up to Olvia. There's a TON of rocks on Olvia Coast and Thermian Cliff that are literally right next to where you kill Foxes/Wolves/Weasels for blood/hide/meat. Saves you a ton of time vs searching for the limited rocks over by Loggia farm.

Hi Morrolan, First of: thanks a lot for your videos on black desert. High quality, good voice (however a little bit too low for some videos) and the content is clear and nicely presented. I would love to see a video like this one about the important NPC to talk with and important Quests to do, to possible unlock some stories leading to some daily quests etc... I know it would be a huge work but a video like that would be of an enormous help. However, I have done all possible combat missions I crossed, talked to almost all NPC,...there are still some NPC who does not want to talk with me. thanks again and cheers

On your Alchemy spreadsheet, add 4 Wolf Bloods to the total section. Missed it a few times and had to backtrack. Great guide though really appreciated!!

on day 1 release: i had 90 CP, from leveling 4 classes to 25, just doing the combat quests up to Glish. i also had 75 max energy doing so. 255 was/is the REAL soft cap for CP. (even though the tooltip says 300)... after 255 it takes considerably more effort per point. 255 is super easy/fast to get with my mentioned methods. after that you might get 1 point per day, instead of 20+ points per day. little known fact: over 1/2 the game hidden by default from new players... click the options menu under the minimap when you mouse over the quest tracker. there you need to enable life skills and "other" quests (dailies). these are demanding on inventory space, carry weight, city storage, and time sink... but they're worth a lot of CP among other benefits... Velia is the best place to start lifeskill quests. the quests there teach you a lot about the game. by default you will never learn these if you play the default combat quests only route. great way to get a lot of CP is dailies... but they're hidden w/o enabling those "other" quests... also little known fact, Olvia is a hub for 30+ daily quests involving lifeskills, mostly gathering, some cook, processing, and some good alchemy quests. they require certain lifeskill level to unlock. this will massively boost your lifeskill levels, as well as boost CP. and there are many daily quests in the game. i was doing about 80 a day. the escort ones are fast and worth the most CP. there's several around/south of Heidel and north of Calpheon. you can continue your lifeskill quests. they progress based on your skill level, unlocking more as your skill level appears to meet the requirements of them appearing.. there will be 100's of quests involving them, which almost all will give CP (and lifeskill exp). make sure to backtrack to see if any npc's have unlocked a quest (if your lifeskill level was too low you could have skipped it)... Florin is another smaller quest hub for lifeskill dailies... also, be sure to talk to black spirit. dialogue option "guide" will show you npc's who have quests for your lifeskills you may have skipped/missed/not seen.

If all of these were weekly quests and not dailies then it wouldn't feel like a chore now, devs really gotta stop making daily quests, they just take too much time out of the hours many get to play a game. If all the dailies were converted to weekly quests with 3-5x the contribution/exp then it would definitely remove the feeling of being forced to log in every day, especially for people who have OCD for gaming.

Black desert is mainly for the hardcore mmo player, you can play as casual but you will progress considerably slower. If you can't dedicate enough time to the game then maybe you shouldn't play it (if the little amount of time you can spend playing isn't fun or is half fun half chore then don't play)

I've found that the Hedgedog quest at Kasula farm is quite fast to do actually... The hedgehog are buggy, but if you can one shot them, it will count toward the objective. If you try to 2-3 shots them, they won't count!

nice vid but i did things the grinders way and have over 260 contribution and haven't got past lvl47 yet, still in caltheon. its a habit i picked up years ago in oblivion and I just do every quest I can find from the start but then again i'm not much bothered by the PvP side of the game so no rush. hoefully by the time i reach lvl 55 i will have over 350 point :)

Could you make one that explain the best way to optimize contribution invested in Calpheon/Heidel/Altinova please ? :3 I started the game 1month ago and I made my first 192 slots bank in Heidel 2 weeks ago, and 3 days ago I felt like I could gain back some points. So I started looking and calculating the best houses that give the most storage space for the lesser CP invested, and I gained back 6 CP, just by rearranging the houses. That could be a very good guide for all of us on how to optimize the CP invested in cities ! The rest is up to you, we all need your divine brain in action !

the hedgehog quest in mediah is not buggy u just 1 hit them and done in 30sec,no basic skills. it is same when ppl say those plant gather in calpheon is buggy sometimes u can collect them sometimes not, but if u read the quest it says when u r able to collect some in morning some during the day. however after 281+ contri u lvl up slow anyway barly gain 2 a day not even so is fail info 300 soft cap when it starts already at 255 the low xp gain

Cooking/Alchemy/Gathering/Processing are all on my main character, since offline energy is not enough to sustain those professions if you want to get them to Artisan. My alts are used for 3 things: 1) Amity games, 2) Worker hiring (5 energy per try, usually aiming for Pro or Artisan Workers), and 3) additional processing of excess (but necessary) materials such as Copper or Flax.

Just to nitpick, but the amulet quest is hourly, so you can actually do the belt quests daily.

Yeah, the 50+ quests are way better. Story quests in Mediah/Valencia are great as well, and have 50/55 level requirements.

You might have to turn on the "Other" category of quests in order to get the dailies to show up. For Olvia Alchemy in particular, there are prerequisites which are mentioned in the video.

+QUMOKO I don't think so, as I used to do all my milking with a brand new alt that had 0 skill. If you aren't getting a lot of %, you can wait a second or so longer for the udder to fill up before clicking.

+Malorey as far as I know energy = knowledge, so it's kinda the opposite. You need to do everything once. ( cooking every recipe, talk with every npc, gather 1 of every type of resource, killing mobs for knowledge ....)

I'm 41 with 123 energy I always try to go to all questions marks on map(new npc) and get knowledge on all mobs before moving to a new area. I have only combat quest enabled, but sometimes I get other quest too which might give me knowledge and as such energy as well. I did all of the quest i could find at least once. I have the other disabled because it takes way more time, and a lot of Inventory space. I want to reach max level this year lol. Have 110 contribution without doing dailies. Inventory space you can buy from cash shop if you are desperate. You can use contribution points for warehouse. or cash shop as well. In my opinion, It's better to concentrate on 1 profession on each character because of limited energy and inventory space. It's not bad if you have them all on same character, tough some profession like cooking might require to park characters in an area for easy access

+Malorey I got my energy from talking to every NPC I saw, completing knowledge topics for certain monsters (killing every type until you have all the knowledges) and just general questing/exploration. You can get 200+ in a few days if you intentionally seek it out and use the H button to check what topics you need.
