Something that should work with just body heat is putting an emergency bivy over an inflatable pad to serve as the air gap and store reflected radiant heat. If you can still fit in bivy with pad, OK, if not still need some type of cover.

Interesting. I don't think I would fit though .lol..😂. Hey thanks for watching 🤗

awesome video Scotty! on the regulating the heat topic, do you think that maybe leaving a small opening on the bottom or top like some native american shelters could help ?

Absolutely I did poke a little hole in the plastic and had the bottom of plastic slightly up, but woo wee it was still very hot. It was fun though. I'm hoping next weekend to do a over again for you guy's. 🤗💯👍

Hey Scotty, Good to know that shelter for emergencies. Probably not something to do for fun, since you were baking in there and didn't get much sleep. 🥵 Take care.

O man it was absolutely a oven in that, even when I scooted the fire away like 5FT I was still baking...crazy how well it works. Almost to good. I always have a hard time sleeping when camping that's the only downfall I have to deal with...ugh.. 😩. It was fun getting out though. 🤗💯
