The theory would explain why Mrs. Tweedy is so committed to killing those chickens despite their clear sentience. Definitely look into the How to train Your Dragon Spinoffs. Its discussed that Night Furies (Toothless' Species) are Hyper intelligent (in some cases more so than humans) and are quite literally powered by plasma, can flawlessly ecolocate, can manipulate lightning, turn invisible, and fly faster than the speed of sound. Not to mention the Vikings call it "The unholy offspring of lightning and Death itself." I dont know about you, but that sounds EXACTLY like the Perfect Hell Monster to combat the humans. Plus the board game "Maces and Talons" is present in a few other properties like Trollhunters. All I'm saying is the How to Train Your Dragon (DreamWorks) films and shorts have a LOT of deep lore that can connect and explain a lot in DreamWorks
@thesun52752 жыл бұрын
Id argue that the third movie removed that idea by then equating dragons, including night furies to the intelligence of a dog to the point that Hiccup literally plays fetch with Toothless when in the second movie they were clearly equal partners to the point of basic communication and understanding. The third movie really did kill our boy.
@drewhogan5642 жыл бұрын
@@thesun5275 true if you just go by the movies. However in the shows, many people are outsmarted by strike class dragons (namely toothless and the skrill). This could either be hyperintelligence or said humans being below average intellect. Intelligence and "animalistic behaviors" are not inherently separate, but I do understand your point from the third film.

The Prince of Egypt: literally full miraculous acts of god. Probably not connected to the other films. The Road to El Dorado: the main horse of the film is rather smart. The main characters tried using an apple to bribe the horse and get a pry-bar. It instead brought them the keys to the cell. The main villain possesses magical abilities strong enough to control a stone jaguar. He also uses a book depicting spells and gods and talks about “the age of the jaguar.” Kipo and the age of the wonderbeasts: Mutant animals rise up and drive humanity underground. They take over the earth and reuse many human inventions left behind (cats became lumberjacks, wolfs become scientists, skunks become a biker gang, etc.) The main character, a half human half jaguar, unites both humans and mutants. Chicken Run: a band of chickens plan a prison break from a chicken farm. They manage to build an airplane with their chicken coops, and fly it. Wallace and Gromit: in the Madagascar penguins in a Christmas caper, Wallace, Gromit, and the main chicken from chicken run are seen in one of Nana’s photos. Flushed Away: Rats literally build an underground city underneath London. Rise of the Guardians: based on a series of books with lots of lore I’m not familiar with. It explores the origins of Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Sandman, and the man in the moon. Trolls: in a few scenes in the first film, there are what seems like remnants of human civilization scattered outside of Bergen town. Trollhunters series: Where do I begin? Magical trolls, aliens with a mysterious connection to the trolls, and the recent show “Wizards” reveals a secret order of primordial demigods bent on destroying the world and remaking it in their image.

We see humans trying to work closely and even symbiotically with dragons, such as Valka, the Wingmaidens, and Mala’s people from Race to the Edge. Also, When Stoick says that he “should have seen the signs” of Hiccup befriending Toothless, it implies that people have befriended dragons against the wishes of the general public before-and that this has happened so often that hallmark behaviors are obvious.

As a life-long psychology geek, I could go on a tangent about why this guy is so obsessed with unraveling films and shows -- as a matter of fact, I think I will. Bear with me. It's all a search for meaning. Stories are what hold our sanity intact in a world that, through entropy, consistently gets more and more chaotic. Stories are the only way the human consciousness knows how to make sense of the world: good people, bad people, antiheroes, missions, quests, survival, higher intelligence and higher powers, magic, gods, the unexplainable... it's *all we understand* of the world, and it's all in story form. THAT'S why films, shows, and books are so popular; they portray the story arcs we see in real life and help them *make more sense.* Now, **I** theorize that someone like The Theorizer is so unusually wrapped up in these stories because his search for meaning in his real life is even more deep and desperate than most people's. It's a common thing for artist souls -- which uncoincidentally is why they're the ones who tend to write their *own* stories. Humans with higher degrees of intelligence, openness, and creativity see the world more truly for the chaotic and convoluted story arc it is, and consequently are most desperate in their search for meaning. This is my grand theory, as a life-long psychology geek: for The Theorizer, this deeper need for meaning comes out in how hard he works to unravel and connect these *fictional* stories. They're his way of trying to unravel real life's meaning, in a second-hand and quite possibly *subconcious* fashion. In fact, it's what most of the kind of people who watch channels like this are doing -- including me.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was really the only piece of Dreamworks Media I've watched recently, and it was amazing. However, now I can't stop thinking about how the Netflix Series has animals that are either: 1: Not vocal or sentient. 2. Only sentient when in contact with She-Ra's magic. 3: Animals that are half human, and half animal, that can change back, or are just stuck that way. Or 4: Are born anthropomorphic, and are as equal to humans, and are natural inhabitants of the Planet Etheria, where the villain is basically an alien called Hoard Prime who is a universal conqueror and is all HEAVILY EMBEDED with occultist symbolism! (Spoilers, btw, for fans of the series that have not yet finished it PLEASE STOP READINIG NOW AT THIS LINE, AND FINISH, THEN COME BACK TO THIS COMMENT.)_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I love this show, and I am a fan too, otherwise, why else would I be mentioning this in grave detail? Ready? Good! Let's boost! Now to sum it up, in the franchise, Adora, a human child, is brought into the world of Etheria by Hoardak, an alien who has set on Etheria to conquer it, and uses her as a weapon, until she finds a sword, which as an ancient piece of "first one's tech", and well, let's just say, it ties into the whole "Conspiracies/Universe is a Hologram bit", where she has to use "magic" to defeat his BROTHER he has been trying to contact throughout the series, and is, get this, a universal HIVEMIND called Hoard Prime who has created clones and upon clones of himself, which is basically what the Alien "Hoard" consists of! Sorry to explain it, without making much sense, as I feel like I'm the only one here that has watched it and enjoyed it this much, and I would highly recommend it..... for anyone who is into conspiracy theories, or is a woman in need of a coming out story (I was both, so I self imprint. Let us have a silent moment of shame) but he is basically this theory AS IS. Hoard Prime basically conquered the universe by enslaving the inhabitants of each planet with a parasitic chip containing a green serum juice that is his personality (if this is not in fact, all he really is, is just the serum, itself, like a DNA sample with a virus that went hieghwire, took a life of it's own, and destroyed the inhabitants from the inside out, as played out in the Princesses of Power, like some kind of ungodly parasite). All too similar to what Mort has done (the sheer fact that Mort is a lemur from Madagascar, and is the Adam and Eve to the animals, ties this to the fabled sunken island of Lumeria, and it unnerves me). So thankfully, She-Ra destroyed Prime, now, there are really no mentions of animal uprisings here. However, I still find it coincidental that they conquered Scorpia's kingdom, and made their base there (as her name implies, half scorpion), and took advantage of her rune stone, and suppressed her completely her whole life, she, the princess, being the first to be raised to willingly fight with the hoard as a soldier. However, Scorpia is not the only animal human/hybrid there. There is a lizard, who is sentient, but can't speak human, and there is my favorite character in the series, who plays out as a main, yet more minor antagonist, Catra, who is the only fully fledged animal human (cat girl) that can fully speak human, but she is not magic. However, the only fully fledged animal/human hybrid that can use magic is... *sigh*..... A shapeshifting lizard person named Double Trouble. There is also in instance where Adora (She-Ra) zaps a lizard with her magic power, giving it a unicorn horn and wings. I don't understand why it didn't just turn it into a dragon which would have been cooler and more sensible, giving that this was the SAME magic to turn a horse into a alpicorn, and give it the ability to speak, tethering him to She-Ra (and just like donkey, is her best friend, and won't shut up throughout the series). There is ancient records of dragons existing in Etheria (and being the animal companion for the original She-Ra, who carried the sword/magic/first one's tech before her), but no dragons seen. I wonder if this could somehow be connected with Shrek, or How to Train your Dragon, but I will leave that for you, Theorizer. Now I do find it interesting that plays out in the entire series, shaping our heroes and villains, makes me think of the whole plot of Megamind. How Metroman is given the upper hand, and Megamind is repressed and gets the shaft reminds me of how Adora is always given the upper hand, and how Catra is repressed and abused by the system, and brainwashed (like how Megamind was). Now it is explained why Adora is treated so special (*cough, cough*- CHOSEN ONE!), but why treat Catra so differently? Could this explain how humanity in the Dreamworks AU is constantly afraid of a hostile alien take over, as literally seen taking place in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, where your theory partially, yet inherently just "plays out"? I also wonder (if possible) Hoard Prime is just Mort, or only, a horrifying thought, actually only just a FRACTION of his soul essence and what it can really do to a society and planet, like Etheria, and if Earth is next on the hitlist! YES, I'm just as insane as you! But Kung Fu Panda taking place in the same universe kind of debunks the connection (yet, again, there is the "Jade" warrior, who has green eyes, and uses Jade to turn people against one another and corrupts their soul in a similar fashion, but not still working well, idk, Theorizer, if you or anyone can keep up to date with Mort and the color green, please let me know. Thanks!).

To make that theory even more ridiculous, just add the shera remake. Think about it. Both animals and humans have at multiple points in time left earth, seeding various planets in the process, where some evolve and others dont, creating new animals but aslo sentient races. In the show theres at least cat- squid- lizard- scorpion- deer(or goat)- and moth-people. And eveantually the galaxy is endangered by a hivemind dedicated to eradicating all life to purify it. A powerfull being that tries to controll death. What if they failed to contain Mort on earth, but still phisically limit him?

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is a Dreamworks property whose entire premise is literally that humans are trying to prevent intelligent animals from being the dominant race. If Kong Fu Panda takes place in the far future after animals already took over, it could well be that Kipo could be something of an intermediary step between intelligent animals being normalized to intelligent animals becoming all there is. I have some ideas for a much more grandiose timeline which I'll be outlining in a separate comment EDIT: I'm looking through Dreamworks properties and also listed here is Rocky & Bullwinkle which takes place in the same world as Mr Peabody & Sherman
@VV-sq6yb3 жыл бұрын
Actually, I made a timeline in which I theorized that some big event had happened (like a mass alien invasion started by Monsters vs Aliens) that had wiped out almost all of humanity. Maybe Kipo takes place during the later parts of this "rapture?"

Shrek very well plays into this, every Shrek Villain is all about stopping Shrek and the other fairytale creatures/intelligent animals from gaining societal power, Lord Farquad holds an event where he wants to enslave as many fairytale creatures as possible and he later on insults Shrek and tries to have his guards kill him twice, Fairy Godmother turns intelligent animals or fairytale creatures into humans so they’re no longer a threat and part of the rising animal society and is trying to keep Shrek away from gaining power in the kingdom, Prince Charming plans to kill Shrek in front of everyone in the kingdom because he’s become too powerful as the king and being loved by society in that movie, and even Rumplestiltskin makes deals to compensate with the fairytale creatures to keep them at bay and he enslaves the ogres and there’s literally an underground resistance army of the remaining ogres in Shrek 4. Oh yeah, it’s all coming together.

@VV-sq6yb3 жыл бұрын
Here is my proposed definitive timeline (I have not seen all the movies, but based on the content of each movie it isn't hard to see where each movie fits) As a side note, the Dreamworks timeline is parallel to our own; I say this based on the existence of the Soviet Union in All Hail King Julien, which appears to take place in the early 2000's. Since it leads right into the first Madagascar movie, it can be concluded that the Soviet Union never fell. Earliest to latest: The Croods franchise (early humans, might even be neanderthals, outcompeting animals in the race to dominate the world) The Prince of Egypt (skipping forward many thousand years, this movie is just a biblical story which is the same as ours in this alternate timeline) How to Train your Dragon (the height of the viking age, these vikings are very isolated and come into contact with a hyper-intelligent mutation of reptiles - they could even be aliens, which would mark the first brush with alien-kind) The Road to El Dorado (the age of exploration, conquistadors, etc.) - Sinbad could also go here, and the presence of fantastical elements in Sinbad could be alien, or there are just fantastical beings in this alternate timeline Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (19th century United States) Rise of the Guardians (this movie is a weird one, since it is the second instance of the fantastical after Sinbad, but it looks like it takes place in late 20th century/early 21st century America) Antz/Over the Hedge (it looks like 21st century/late 20th century America; whether insects or chordates gained intelligence first, I do not know) The Boss Baby (honestly this movie could go anywhere between Rise of the Guardians and Madagascar but this movie doesn't seem as technologically advanced as the other 'later' films) Bee Movie (sentient bees, would make sense to come out after Antz because bees and ants are in the same phylogenetic order, Hymenoptera) The entire Madagascar franchise (all classes of animals appear to have gained sentience but - except for possibly insects - cannot communicate with humans; animals become dangerously smart; height of the campaign of Mort) Turbo (could take place some time within the Madagascar timeline; has some technological advancement not present in the Madagascar franchise) Megamind (first affirmative visit of Earth by aliens) Abominable (the yeti could be an alien - or a magical creature, since that is plausible in this timeline - and the city in which the main character lives in appears to be more futuristic than the city in Megamind) Home (second affirmative visit of Earth by aliens - also, the planet looks quite different from the other movies, but is not as technologically advanced as Mr. Peabody and Sherman) Mr. Peabody and Sherman (I honestly didn't know where to place this one, since time travel is incredibly technologically advanced; the dog is also quite anthropomorphic and can communicate with humans, but this is more likely a rarity, the ability to walk upright and communicate with humans has appeared multiple times in this timeline) Monsters vs Aliens (complete alien invasion, also has monsters which could be mutated humans/animals or different types of aliens) In this part of the timeline I believe that a sort of "rapture" has occurred. Probably induced by the first major alien invasion of Monsters vs Aliens, more alien species have attempted to invade Earth, failing, but ultimately wiping out most of humanity. What remains are animals and certain subsets of humans, and the world has been thrown back into a stone age. To adapt to this rapture, humans have split up and evolved differently - perhaps leading to different races such as "ogres" and "trolls." This section of the timeline also sees the third instance of the fantastical, in Shrek, so maybe magic is just of second nature to this universe. The Shrek franchise (I already explained everything above; Donkey and Puss are very anthropomorphic and can communicate with humans - this fits in the timeline of animal advancement in this universe) The Trolls franchise (the last of the true humans have finally died out, leaving only these strange creatures that may or may not have once been human) Here, I think a second rapture happened, maybe a natural disaster, wiping out all non-animal beings, including all fairy tale creatures, trolls, ogres, etc. Kung Fu Panda (all of the animals are anthropomorphic to a degree and they build their architecture based on the sparse ruins of human society before them, which is why the buildings in this version of China are all strictly Chinese; this new age of civilization is in what we might consider a medieval or classical period) Shark Tale (the culture is unmistakably modern, reminiscent of the culture of us modern humans, meaning that this collective animal society has gone through the same societal progression as the humans did before them; Shark Tale takes place many centuries after Kung Fu Panda) As for Mort's quest, it appears he ultimately won. Whether it was his proverbial - or literal - hand that guided the aliens to cause humanity's rapture, or merely fate, it seems that our eldritch-god-turned-unassuming-mouse-lemur is the true victor of the Dreamworks timeline.
@TiffinVStorm3 жыл бұрын
My only problem with this is the placement of shark tale in the timeline as, though never making on screen appearances, humans do show up occasionally. I would say this means shark tale occurs earlier, at least before the second rapture, and the sentient animals under the sea were able to develop faster because there was less human interference there. It would be a lot harder to send an aquatic verminator.

Spirit: the military is obsessed with pursuing the horse in hopes of breaking him. They’re so desperate. My god. And when they do recapture him (seemingly more important than their army responsibilities), condemn him and the other unbreakables to pulling trains. I forgot to mention that when the horse first proved too strong to be broken, which inspired the other horses in the camp, the captain/general/commanding officer ordered for him to be killed. Weird, cuz why didn’t they just set him loose? I’m currently working on the meaning behind the eagle that follows the horse throughout the film. Does it symbolize something? Is it a guide (maybe a being taking on the form of a bald eagle)?
@greatvalue_ethelcain Жыл бұрын
The bald eagle likely symbolizes freedom or hope. Either way, it represents how freedom is integral to the spirit. It flies in the opening scene, kind of introducing the theme of freedom that appears throughout the film. When the horse is getting dragged away the first time, the eagle cries as if it’s also suffering. To summarize, the film makes a point about how freedom and agency is crucial for complex beings to exist, and the eagle serves to tell us when this need is or isn’t being met.
@greatvalue_ethelcain Жыл бұрын
Ok last thing: If you still want to include Spirit in the Mort theory, there is a minor character that ties into the FEET cult. This character largely serves as comedic relief, getting battered up by the horse while he does things like cutting hair and tending to the hooves, but oh it can be much deeper than that. At one point, he gets kicked hard in the face, and not a friendly nudge, like it should have ended his life. He appears one more time in the jailbreak scene, where he glares at the horse and guards the doors like he stands a chance at being an obstacle. He only has a bruised eye and a bandage on his head and is completely unfazed, like something was protecting him earlier and like he’s confident for that same reason that he’ll be fine. Well, he gets easily knocked over, and as the horses run through the doors, he lays rigid in the center, defeated, like whatever force was protecting him earlier is no longer there. Yeah, you better bet the guy trimming horses’ hooves is a part of the FEET cult (in some minor way). I know the other antagonists’ attitudes toward horses reaffirm the existence of FEET, but this character in particular speaks to involvement of the sky gods in members’ lives (life extension etc).
