@@DaGhouul in MKvsDCU the "Rage" was a sort of energy produced by the merger of the two universes, which worked as a power gauge in-game but it also served a role in the story: characters who were normally weaker would get infused by rage and become more powerful, while others would be weakened; this allowed to justify matches between superheroes like Superman or Captain Marvel (Shazam) and non-powered ones like many of the MK cast but also (and maybe especially) The Joker.

Eh not really, the joker wouldn’t be the joker without Batman. Batman makes the joker but joker doesn’t make Batman. What makes joker interesting is he’s unpredictable and always pushes u to the limit of your kill or not, but if he went to mortal kombat, dude would be dead.

You did miss the graveyard reference with Sonya and Joker, because in MK vs DC, Deathstroke, Kano, Sonya, and Joker were there in the Joker's chapter before the fight in the Green Lantern corps planet of Oa with Sonya

Just because they mentioned MK vs DC here doesn't mean they're planning on a sequel given how HORRIBLE the first game was. The Joker in MK11 doesn't really exist to them anyway since he's third party. Meaning Joker in this game is just a simple "what if" scenario like Terminator and Robocop. MK vs DC isn't canon in any way. Whenever someone mentions random event from the game is supposed to serve as a simple easter egg.

Joker mentioning "a sequel" made me think about an eventual MKvsDCU2 but I don't think they'd invest money in it after the original failed... MK fans don't want a toned down MK and DC fans don't want their roster cut in half for characters they don't care about... But imagine how cool it'd be if they found a way to feature cross compatibility between Injustice and MK! Like they could build Injustice 3 in the same engine as MK12 and then if you own both games on disk you can actually combine the roster! Holy crap they need to hire me right now.
