This Shao Kahn was Badass, Voice Actor Ike Amadi did a great job voicing the character. Ike Amadi also did voice work for Cyrax as well in the story. Bob Carter was the last voice actor to play the character which was in Mortal Kombat 9, Bob Carter's portrayal of Shao Kahn was Legendary I would argue the greatest, but Ike Amadi is a solid replacement. What did you folks think?

Everything about this Kahn is great. Sucks to see they couldn't think of anything for this character to do in story and just throws him away.

I was never a fan of Bob Carter's Shao Kahn. Steve Ritchie's was always my favorite, not because of nostalgia but, because he made Kahn sound so naturally menacing. Bob Carter's Kahn sounds like was trying too hard and it ended up sounding goofy. Ike was a great replacement but imo, Bob Carter was the worst Kahn. I didn't even like the design of MK9 Shao Kahn, he looked a lot better in the cinematic trailers than he did in the game.

This shao kahn was just a brute so amadi's voice fits it, in mk9 he was a genius conquerer so carter's portrayal fits him well. As for my favourite it would be Bob.

@@Aex89 I wouldn't call 9's version a genius: he allowed himself to be played by Quan Chi, something that the original Shao Kahn would never do. Speaking of Quan Chi, the new timeline made him smarter. Then again, Kahn in 11 trusted Shang Tsung, another act of stupidity he normally would never commit.

i love that for all of the newer mortal kombat games' deeper intricacies, alternate timelines, and dragon ball z levels of villain escalation, shao kahn has not changed in any respect. decades after his debut he's still just this big guy who has green energy powers and a big hammer. he's so convinced of his own hype that he actively resists any new plot development if it gets in his way for a second. what an absolute king

Gonna have to disagree with you there, Shao Kahn in this game is a total moron compared to his MK9 counterpart, they reduced Shao Kahn to the cliche “ARGHH, CHARGE” type of villain, instead of the powerful, yet intelligent warlord from the previous game.

Meh trash redesign not holding an inch of intimidating the helmet horns being the biggest part of his character he's compensating for his small brain and brute character they did him dirty while mk9 shao kahn is great
