With all due respect and in the style in which this episode was made, this was the most half ass recap of MK I have seen! I know the original parts were essentially rewritten but without going over that just a bit more you don’t grasp the severity of Raiden messing with the timeline. Plus, those pronunciations though. Yikes.

Kung Lao wasn't killed in MK 2. He was "killed" in MK 3 but later returned in Mk 4/Gold. Man so many times I kept hearing either Shinnok got killed in MK X or Kung Lao died in MK 2...

Well the typical main protagonist plot armor. Liu Kang beat every villain is just like how Ryu, Jin Kazama and Kyo Kusanagi beat their villain. However Liu Kang wasn't really a normal human being. He can summon and transform into dragon.
