Now that you mentioned it, you absolutely HAVE TO cover "Defenders of the Realm". That cartoon is a goldmine of garbage, but is also one of the few instances in MK universe where Saurian character is treated somewhat respectfully. If you haven't watched it before, you're gonna have a blast.

@@sandrward3500 now that is just objectively not true because while defenders of the realm was a good nostalgic 90s cartoon back in the day it is nowhere close to the quality of the legends movies just for the animation, action, violence etc alone as they are more true to the mk lore and franchise.

The style of other MK medias that came out on 90's have, which didn't care for brutal violence for exemple. Btw both animations are "amusing" in their own way.

The power scaling loop gets even worse when you remember that Quan Chi effortlessly no diffed Hanzo in the Nether. Bi-Han is probably hovering around Scorpion's level or just under as Scorpion still had to tko himself to take Bi-Han down. Good video, even though it stings to hear D.O.T.R. get dragged like that.

An argument could be made that scorpions power is dictated by emotions. Meaning his anger allowed him to beat the neatherrealm demons, but his fear over potentially being caught made him weak enough to loose to the cyborgs. Then again I'm probably taking this joke video too seriously.

There are a few simple explanations for the power scaling loop with the Cyber Lin Kuei and Scorpion and Sub Zero 1: We already know the Cyber Lin Kuei operate on power cores, and since they've been hunting Scorpion and fighting them for a few days or so, their power cores were likely low. Their armor durability was also likely being worn down and they probably already used up a bunch of their gadgets. 2: We also don't know how many demons they fought. The demons also vary in size and strength, so that is another factor to consider 3: The Cyber Lin Kuei and Scorpion and Sub Zero are simply equals, and the way the difference scenarios played out was purely dependent on who struck first and what not. Realistically, this makes the most sense 4: As for Hanzo, while yeah you could say Quan-Chi "defeated" Hanzo as Sub-Zero, Hanzo was already exhausted from killing all those Lin Kuei and emotionally distraught, making him an easy kill. Not to mention he was desperate for Quan Chi to spare his child. The writers probably could have done a better job explaining these things if they are true, but that is a few theories that could explain this confusing power scaling

If you think the animated movies were inconsistent, you should see the NRS story modes, the power levels are all over the place, for example you have a SWAT Officer Stryker beating the almighty monster of Outworld, Ermac, or a US Special Forces soldier Sonya beating two highly trained assasins Kitana and Jade, the latter beating Mileena later in the story. I'm telling you, it's a mess.

Hey Sanic, i think bi han is pretty powerful, because in scorpions revenge, scorpion was an absolute unit, defeated 100 or 1000 demons, and basically bi han was one of the most powerful assasins , this guy basically tied with the op scorpion, because without quan chi motivation and truth revealing, scorpion be dead and tecnically tie with bi han.
