Something I found out right at the end of the game: Hammer and chisel special attack - the one where you shoot the chisel at your target - is utterly broken OP in a boss fight. It'll hard CC the boss for several seconds, opening him up to a bunch of attacks, which will fill your resolve high enough to use the skill again. lol.

@@95zachman Yes, if he stand in the middel of the arena the coverage is gigantic. Almost the whole place. I could only avoid it by guessing when he using it and just run to the edge of the arena. Very annoying. I'm very glad I didn't fight this one as first major boss.

It's a bug and it still hasn't been patched. I just got killed by it. It's supposed to be his AOE damage from his second part when he slams his sword into the ground and the icicles pop up. For some reason the damage goes off wherever he is and if you're playing on no shell, it's instant death.

I remember fighting this boss, after finishing the game I watched some videos and I learned that I was supposed to be more prepared by the time I was supposed to fight him and it took me like one day to win the fight and must of the time I was killed by the cold temperature when not in my shell..and now I see this... how embarrassing 😂

I found this game very easy beat every boss on my first attempt pretty much i died to grisha at the beginning if u can call that a boss lmao but i was unfamiliar with the controls the ai is so easy to bait attacks and you get the same attack window but it was really fun :edit i only stuppled upon this video cause i was lookimg up "mortal shell bosses are to easy" to see if anyone made a video about how they found it easy . But great video brother im stockedfor lords of the fallen and lies of p ! And elden ring dlc so many good games

You have mushrooms that respawn every few minutes right before you drink the nectar stuff at the idol lady. Just pick something else to to do and ever 3 4 mins come back and collect it quick until you have enough.

just before u start is 2 mushrooms right by the lady on the right. go backwards up the stairs to the coffin area 2 more he'll u can always go back to the crypt grab that one just running no fighting and if u die u just run back easy please. also every 5 min they respond I walked in with 20 shrooms still died

You can easily run all the way back out without even taking a hit. I felt the same as you, because I got here without my weapons being upgraded much, and wanted to leave. The enemies do not react very quickly. Running past is not a problem even with the lowest stamina rating.

I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE AFTER MY 46th try I LEARNED DURING HIS SECOND PHASE RIGHT BEFORE HE PUTS DOWN HIS SPIKES IN MY GAME IF YOU ARE USING TIEL ARMOR RUN TOWARDS HIM HARDEN RIGHT BEFORE HE PUTS DOWN THE SPIKES THE HE WILL DO A BACK DASH AND THEN TRY AND POKE YOU THIS IS WHEN YOU LAND ON HIM AND UNHARDEN dealing more damage to him also IF YOU HAVE RESOLVE (the yellow bars) and using the hallowed sword while he’s dashing hit L1-R1 To use your special and staggering him down mind you using this spike strategy for me also staggered him cause I would use the jump heavy attack followed by a combo of heavy attacks right after i harden in my game he froze right after he poked me shortly after putting down the spikes this is how I beat him after trying so many times

I totally agree. I just got the game free and thought I'd give it a go. Kind of slow mechanics, a lot of repetition, but overall not too bad. Then I get to this boss and I'm thinking, "this is the laziest artificial difficulty imaginable." It's just terrible design and completely random deaths.

@@scrublord5886 I just beat him not too long ago, took many tries, sometimes he had'nt even killed me yet in 2nd form and I'm doing great, then he takes me out of my shell which is no problem because i can go back into one more time and hes almost dead, as i run back to my shell the ice AOE kills me.....over and over and over.... so basically this guys has to be taken out without getting tossed of your shell even once, or use solomon which i heard has an ability that keeps the guys frozen longer while out of your shell though it won't help much for the ice damage area of effect

It's just tilt talking there. You're commenting on a video where the creator has beaten it without taking a single hit. You are free to dislike the fight, but how can you argue it's poorly made when they have designed it so that every attack is completely avoidable? That is the main thing you want to look for in a soulslike boss, and they have nailed that. No shell required, no upgrades required.

Confesso que achei esse Tarsus o chefe mais difícil do jogo. É rápido, agressivo, teleporta e ainda por cima tem a maldita aura de gelo que come sua vida facilmente se não tiver cuidado. Exige paciência e habilidade. Eredrin é altamente recomendado.
