You got this from the "death is just the beginning 2" or was it {"at deaths door"} videotape death metal compliation. Thatw as a great fucking videotape man!!! This was one of the best songs on the videotape. Pungent Stench, Monstrosity, and hypocrisy wwere really good ones to on that tape.

Well, people who are into metalcore, hardcore etc are metalheads as well and you should respect them for it. They might not have the same taste, but they're still into metal. Being in Australia, I am surrounded by freshies, so even if I see someone in a Suicide Silence shirt I go "AWESOME! A metalhead". Sincerely, someone who likes core and death/grind/pretty much everything heavy.

@Rbroly88 I think there are actually a lot of Christian artists like this (Antestor, Frost Like Ashes, Living Sacrifice), but they are ignored for the more, uh, "family-friendly" artists like Skillet or Barlowgirl or other CCM artists. That, or talentless melodic metalcore hacks like Norma Jean or Haste the Day.

The Greek concept of gods was simply immortal humans with super powers. They were petty, jealous, fought amongst themselves, stole from each other, interfered with each others affairs, competed for power on Mount Olympus. What kind of role model is that for humans to follow. Compare that to God offering Himself in the form of Jesus to pay for the sins of His creation. I'm not so sure it's a church thing as it is an old person thing, lol. The younger adults at my church are perfectly fine with it. It's the more elderly that find it disturbing. And I think that's true for pretty much all old people :P (not that there aren't exceptions)
