I LOVE the fact that you were able to do your apprenticeship BEFORE you completed school because doing that kind of assures that you’re serious about this career path.

Very special to have come across your video's. Thank you for the simple honest humility you show as you help us to understand the most interesting and important subject in our life. We will all have a need to fall back on the explanations you share with us in the overview of death and the need for a funeral home. Thank you kindly, Kari.

When I went to a local funeral home, the director said that she had known my son. As a matter of fact her cousin had been my son's friend. It made me comfortable to know she had known my son and I trusted her

(❓) I have a couple of questions. Is there no such thing as a masters degree in mortuary science? This is one program I haven’t seen anywhere. Just curious as to how far I can go in my education in mortuary science. Secondly, How do you do your restorative art class while getting your AAS in mortuary science, if you are a distance learner? I’m 6 hours away from my school. Thanks! :)

Hi Kari, I really enjoy your videos and have learned so much!! You probably get this question a lot but how did you know this was your path? I'm so interested in the field but not sure I could handle the different deaths, especially children. What would you recommend? Thanks for all the information you provide ☺

What if you’re just wanting to work in the cosmetology part of the job?
@randyfritz65005 жыл бұрын
Amber Stultz You could freelanced at different funeral homes. Most funeral homes do not have full-time staff such as Embalmer, Cosmetogist, Funeral Attendant or Hairdresser. These positions would be an on-call, this is in regards to cost savings.......for the funeral home owner.

Hi.....I'm from Trinidad and Tobago ....grew up in a funeral home environment....was scared of the dead , yes, ironic I know...But I got over the phobia and became seriously involved...now , I'm on the verge of owning my very own business, but I need to be trained and certified in the area of embalming...I have the non certified experience and exposure in key areas of funeral business....But here in my country, I need to have just my associates in embalming...so I need to know how can I gain entry to study only the area of embalming.....I attended high school here for five years, but didn't do too well in my subject areas.....can you guide me and also how much would it cost to do my studies....I'm psychologically and mentally ready for this....thank you
