I f*****g love this interview! KoRn, they rock my world! Their records, they're just phenomenal! I'm so grateful, for what they give to us fans. I have so much respect for JD, he's raw, he's real. And for that, I can't thank him enough! He's just so relaxed here, sharing moments of his journey with their new record!! I'm a grown woman (same he as JD, actually!) and I've been a fan from the start! I like other genres, but, I've never had a connection with a band, like the connection I have with KoRn. They've been my survival manual, through the years, and they continue too! JD made me giggle with this interview, and it was great to hear him laughing and enjoying himself. Can't wait to go and see KORn, at Brixton, in August!!

Yep! haha He actually makes a great point. He made a great point about KoRn relating to Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin also sort of had identity issues when it comes to what genre they are. Some call them metal, some call them hard rock and both bands don't really fit in with the metal genre even though they are accepted into those genres. At the end of the day though, f*ck genres, it's all about good music and talented people. I listen to bands because I like their music not because of what genre they are associated with.

He's got a great life, he just wears his heart on his sleeve and is a wonderful man who is often times too nice. Also, he worked as a coroner before he joined KoRn so he understands life and death on a level that your average person doesn't. That's what us fans love about him though. He is vulnerable, he doesn't wear a mask. He invites you into his heart and his soul every time he hits the stage and gives 110 percent of himself to the crowd. It's a very special thing...
