The convertion of the Haghia Sophia Church was done in 1453 when Ottoman Sultan Muhammed Al - Fatih conquered Constantinople and this stopped the Crusades to the Holy Land. Where in the Holy Land the Masjeed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock were converted to a Church and there was a cross on it . From Constantinople the Crusades were going to the Holy Land.

In Cordova Mosque- Cathedral now there has got to be allowance for the Muslims too ,to pray in the Islamic Areas in the Mosque that are still standing to day . Worship cannot be banned . The Mosque is still there today and available but it needs to function again in those spaces left for islam.

In the Holy Land in Hebron there is an Abraham Mosque and the Muslims pray in one part and the Jews pray in another part

I have to say, it is really big and beautiful. Where is the Islamic art in this Church?? Where are the things of Muslims? I thought there will be more Islamic things here... In Hagia Sofia Turks did not destroy the momumental parts. The Ottomans left so many things of Christianity in Turkey. Respect for the Ottomans when i see what happened to Cordoba Mosque/Church. I could not see any Islamic art on the walls😢😢
