Mosquito Problem? You Gotta See This!!!!

Thank you! I’m a walking attractant to mosquitoes, too. I live in drought plagued Los Angeles suburbs and get over 100 bites a year. It is exasperating to fight off our ravenous mosquitoes for 24/7/330 days a year. So, I appreciate your advice and will implement your techniques into my lifestyle. Bye bye 🦟!🥰

You want to know the best tax that I pay? It's called the mosquito abatement dist. tax. It's a county tax for a dept. that has spray rigs and staff that canvas the country spraying. I live five miles from town on three acres of which two acres are pasture that I irrigate with surface water. I can walk through our yard and pasture and rarely see a mosquito. It's a quality of life for us and the best tax I gladly pay........

Do you know if the solution they use is toxic for other animals that eat mosquitoes? Will birds get harmed if they eat mosquitoes that ate from these tubes? I don't want to buy this product if that is the case.

I believe it is sugar and yeast- so no, it doesn’t harm other animals.

I highly recommend buying some Bti granules or dunks for adding to water features. It's just compressed bacteria that when added to water eat mosquito larvae and little else. Harmless to birds and other insects. Most hardware stores carry.

J.J., would you please consider testing BTI granules or dunks at ColonyHillsHomestead and reporting your results here. Specifically, would you test them in 5-gallon buckets as shown in lots of KZbin videos (some videos better than others). Please use these buckets in conjunction with the great suggestions you have made in this video - tirm your bushes, etc. I would like to see how the BTI buckets work for you.

I know that feeling of going camping with my friends or family and there having fun and 😊I just sitting here minding my business and all the sudden wam it like I’m the one won who they won’t I have to use bug spray on and off throughout the night just to be enjoying the experience with them if I don’t remember it then I’m spending all my time inside my tent 😅
