I love my Mc1sc, and I'm a Glock guy. I did get a Glock 43 mag & put a Vickers +2 extension with Talon grip tape on it & I use that in my Mossberg. I've never had a failure from my Mossberg.

I'll have to check that out. I keep hoping for Shield Arms to release a 9 or 10 round flush mag for G43. But I've really come to prefer the MC2c.

Had awful luck with maguts, I'll never buy them agsin. Had a maguts follower come off the spring inside a mag. Won't chance that happening again. LOVE my MC1 btw, retired my 43.

That sounds similar to what we experienced trying to run the MagGuts in the MC1sc. We had no problems with the G43, but might revert to stock. Still hoping Shield Arms releases an S15 equivalent for the G43...but mainly interested for it to work in MC1sc. Like you, we pretty much retired the G43. Check out the MC2c...pretty much the same width as the MC1sc...G48 competitor. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4S1k3uid6lgraM

The 43 mags work in the mossberg. So any benefit there is a benefit for both guns.

Except for the MagGuts upgrade...works great in G43, but not in MC1sc. I haven't tried the Shield Arms new G43 mag in MC1sc. But with the new MC2sc, there's really no reason spend a lot going this route.

I love my Mc1sc. My sister has the Glock 43 but I find the Mc1sc is more accurate than the Glock 43.

For two pistols so remarkably similar, we found in our bloody hands testing that everyone shot the MC1Sc very well. Slightly Better that the G43. Not enough that I'd say that your sister should sell her G43, but has she tried the MC1Sc? BTW, good on sis. I hope she carries her Glock. My sister was prevented by work from carrying and it cost us her life. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGnKooCIp7trl68

Mossberg MC1sc slides have an issue, they stick about 1/2 inch short. Don’t bet your life on this gun.

I've had no problems. Early on, if I really finessed a chamber check, it might need an assist. But zero issues in live fire and even the chamber checks after about 100 rounds. I do use Sentry Solutions Tuf Glide dry lube on all of my firearms... So I maybe that helps. Testing the MC2c soon.

Just because a couple guns had that problem doesn't mean they all do, the thing about that specific problem is if you actually shoot your gun and test it out which you should, you would notice it. Besides that the problem resolves after you break it in, also pretty much every gun ever made has had problems even glocks do, so why do people trust those and not the mc1? The sticking is not going to suddenly start occurring if you've already shot 500 rounds through it so it's really not a problem

@@alphasheep99 Although it's new, I retired the gun and only Glock from now on.

I bet you would trust a p365. They had all kinds of real issues on the first run.

I bought the Mc1 because a good friend has one that gets rode hard and put away dirty has had ZERO PROBLEMS with it. I've put a few mags through mine, and so far so good. I think all and all it's just a little better out of the box. I'm kind of a Glock guy myself, but I see them getting a little long in the tooth for the price. I know you can spend money and upgrade, but how much you gonna spend to catch up with a gun that starts out with a lower MSRP?

I have both and love both guns. Not a huge fan of the breakdown of the Mossberg. My 43 is made in America
