My hubby is a mechanic by trade and he has ALWAYS told me that if you see a big fuel truck at the store… and they’re filling those tanks… get gas somewhere else that day… WAIT to get gas from that place for a few days because when they’re filled… it kind of stirs all the dirt and debris up from that bottom of the fuel storage tanks and you will end up with it in your gas tank! So glad y’all got it fixed! ♥️

My husband and I run a gas station in California. When ever it threatens rain, we lay heavy rubber mats over the tank fills, where the gas trucks drop the fuel into the tanks in the ground.

I had something similar happen to my car! The truck accidentally put diesel in the huge underground unleaded tank. Needless to say that didn’t go well for my poor little Kia! Luckily they paid for the repairs. Bad fuel is no fun! Hope your weekend gets better!
