Never underestimate the need for proper ventilation with all uroplatus species. I had lots of success keeping New Caledonian species and thought I had the experience to keep a Henkeli. My terrarium heat and humidity were fine but in an effort to keep in humidity I covered some of the mesh at the top of the enclosure. My gecko got a RI a 3-5 days later. She got treatment but she was never the same after the stress and sadly passed 5 months later. Proper Ventilation is extremely important, almost as much as not overheating. Many care sheets miss out on highlighting ventilation considerations for many species.
