With the Assassin’s Creed multiplayer I think they shut the servers down but the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag multiplayer is still active on Xbox one and PS. I played it today, but there’s only like maybe 200 people that play it consistently. It’s a lot of fun actually.

Brother you are taking me on a nostalgia trip back to my late teens early 20's when id play 360 all damn day long, from halo 2, halo 3, id run through gears 1 and 2 on insane mode, and play ridge racer 6, our friends would come over and play street fighter IV, then we'd go to gamestop where my buddy worked and bother him a bit, with my brother man its really been that long.

The best part about backwards compatibility Is you can boot up MW2 or black ops and play them like they are xbox one or series x games and If you still own a 360 you can play on that and still find players

Forza Horizon 1 & 2 had online servers shut down a few weeks ago. I don’t know why it allows you to start a lobby in FH1 though.

@@lunakurouwu3935 Not really, I think GFWL got shut down in 2014. Since that, many games like Resident Evil 5 left unplayable for a decade. Few months ago capcom released a patch which officially removed Games for Windows Live. Same for Fallout 3. But only with the help from the community.

Though the service is still functional if you download it, me personally I have Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City on Steam and I had to get GFWL for it to run. But it fully functions, I sign in my Microsoft/Xbox account and I even get achievements for Xbox, even though they are absent from Steam. Once somebody even joined my campaign, though the multilayer scene seems to be largely empty, never was able to find any matches.

@@1StaubsaugerThe reason is that gfwl can’t handle Xbox accounts with 2fa for some reason so gfwl has essentially became useless because people can’t sign into it anymore. So people just install xliveless.

The initial thing I noticed upon trading in my Xbox One for the 360, is simply how much easier, simple, and clean the dashboard/system is. It just seems much more easy on the eye than modern systems. Another positive is how much more customisation it allows players

I used to play Fight Night Champion on my PS3 when it was launched and when I had my first Xbox experience through Series S I was surprised that there are plenty people playing it to this today on Xbox. I believe it is due to backwards compatibility+EA play. The PlayStation version is gen locked and kind of empty.

Splinter Cell Double Agent was so good. I miss the multiplayer on that game, I remember constantly having so much fun with it. Not to mention, it's quite a unique style of play, that a lot of games don't take on nowadays

The og minecraft minigames are still active (atleast in Europe) and you can pretty much get a lobby anytime (glide and tumble lobby's are quite rare but battle is very common

Far Cry 4 went down when Ubisoft fixed the Far Cry 2 multiplayer. Aliens vs Predator is pretty active and sometimes Ghostbusters the video game.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered being cross-play is a big W in the gaming industry for me. I get on this game time to time and have made friends with people who religiously play it, it's a nice experience. The lobbies are slam full of players almost but time to time you get a dead lobby.

That's awesome I recall playing with a random stranger in borderlands 2 and I got to play with a friend on the pre-sequel so it's still alive but have your lobby public and see who will join that's how a stranger came I played as a psycho at the time Oh and I've played _Rock band_ and _Guitar Hero_ the servers are still active And I found like 8-10 people that still play it Rock band 3, Guitar Hero 3 GH: Metallica, specifically I tried with others like Aerosmith, warriors of rock, Van Halen, the first 2 Rock Band games, not much unless you know somebody or are friends with that still have the games to this day

Xbox Live Gold merged with Game Pass, you need to buy a Game Pass subscription to play online now, which was already the case for Game Pass Ultimate but they made it for all tiers. Kinda pointless paying a few bucks extra now if you play on a 360 console since Game Pass is not on 360, but yaknow, Microsoft do what Microsoft does.

@@Kylewraps Not everyone has the money for a PC, or even wants one. A lot of people went from 360 to PS4 and tuned out of the loop of Microsoft so wouldn't know what Xbox games get shut down. Sucks to find out the games are gone, lucky for me I do have a PC and played MCC a ton over the last couple years but for those casuals like this commenter, would be a disappointment. OG servers > MCC 100%
