Thats too funny. I have an American bulldog that had a weight issue when I adopted him. He's dropped 40+lb. so to us, he's so much smaller than he was. He isn't even 140 lb. now. New people meet him they are like, "Holy shit, your dog is huge!" And we're all, "shhhh! You'll hurt his feelings. He's put in a lot of work to be that little." If he looked to the world the way he see's himself, you would see a 45 lb. golden retriever. So the world see's a big ferocious man eating bulldog. To me, Ace, comes off like a mad scientist. Once when he was but a wee little pup. He was playing with his ball by a blanket. As he nudged the ball it disappeared into a fold of the blanket. However, when he went to retrieve his ball. What he found was a KFC bucket filled to the brim with crispy fried chicken. Once he had his fill, a nap followed. When he woke, all he could think about was how the blanket turned a ball into chicken. To this day he continues his experiment. Trying to reproduce the magical crispy bucket he longs for. The end. .... lol

The different barks is such a cute thing! My grandma's dog also has different barks but the most frequent one is a short bark for "let me in, you have forgotten me!" because he follows her everywhere to see if she is alright but she is 82 and she keeps leaving him outside accidentally and then he calls for her and she lets him in.

We work around his grumpiness. ❤❤❤❤ Blessed to have him

He is hilarious. I thought the ball burying was just accidental until I saw him do it a couple of times. After he hides the ball it almost looks like he is humping the blanket. I think he just might be a strange doggo without it being related to age. Dogs that small can live to be 20 yrs old so maybe he's just a weirdo and not an old man. An entertaining weirdo!

Holy shit, he’s JUST like my gf’s dog that passed away last month. She was a yorkie poo that ONLY wanted meat. Specifically charcuterie meat. If it was steak with cheese, she wouldn’t eat it. She was SO picky. So she was thin too. AND THE BALL IN BLANKET (or toy in carboard box) was her fave game too! I discerned that she spent at least 6 hours alone everyday which is why I believe she just kinda learned to entertain herself. She would hide the ball in the blanket, or we’d hide One of her toys in a cardboard box and put the blanket over it and let her dig to find it. If we were around, she would bark at the blanket til we hid it again or threw her tot for her to retrieve. She was sweet, but hated new people and was a pretty high maintenance weirdo, but we still loved her lots. Miss that crazy lil girl.
