For me and I’m sure like many others, in the wintertime I am very drawn to pick up anything OTHER than a sneaker. Like you Drew, I haven’t picked up my new balances in a minute. However in the spring and summertime, I love a comfy sneaker! I think it also has to do with breathability and style options in the hotter weather!

#PVV : my most worn shoes are my mono black Converse. Comfortable and go with everything, I just know I'll wear these until they fall apart. The second pair are my burgundy steel toe Solovair boots, they're done me a lot of good in a damp climate and are definitely the statement pair.

I dig those Bode Nikes, but that slim silhouette’s gonna be tough for everyone in the oversized lane. Maybe if I went back to my slim fit-everything days it could work. Or shorts only? I’ve been slowly giving up on Nike these days. And I agree with NBs, quality is never a slouch with them. Just copped my pair of 580 Stray Rats and have been my grail kicks as of late!

Took a trip to london/nyc and only could take one pair of shoes--decided on the white/grey margiela GAT. was walking 20k steps every day and found no problem comfort wise, got a few scuffs but i found both the color + gum sole are just so incredibly versatile (not a surprise as it's essentially just the elevated version of the samba which is so prevalent at the moment!)

I bought a pair of dirk bikkemberg bungee coord boots in early 2023 that have just been my go to's for the past year. Im pretty young and I definitely 'overspent" on those shoes but every time I look at them I just fall in love with the design language again and all the subtle inspirations that make up the boot. Even though I don't consume as much these days because I found my "keeper" boots. It's always nice to get the monthly Drew Joiner update on whats trending rn

Mary Janes are gonna be making a wild comeback even in menswear circles. i've had three pairs of tabi mary janes in the past two years and i love the look of ppl when they see me a dude wear them the are so easy to make outfits w aswell. My most worn pairs of shoes so far are my black Onitsukas and platform doc martens chelsea boots . These are my first pair of black sneakers, when I got them I was excited to kinda dip a toe in my villain era. I used to be really into the 80s white chunky sneaker look and I’m stepping away from that. The platform Chelseas?? They used to be the bane of my existence, left my heels raw !! But after two years of having them they are finally finally broken in. Love that I can slip them on and be on my merry way during this nyc wet cold weather.

feel like dainty shoes are a thing i see growing in men's fashion for sure. i think this summer slippers & flats are gonna be huge. pants won't be getting any smaller either. personally i'm gonna be all about my plasticana clogs and morjas pennies. i feel like the only shoes i don't have that i want are like super cozy sneakers (prob xt6 for me, just the best fit for my foot) and hoop shoes (prob foams tbh, most 90's retro stuff has too much volume for my foot but that's the most durable shit there is) for rest of winter it's black timbs and orees tho. gotta get move all day insoles for both they are game changers. get them for all shoes really also most worn shoes? black timbs bc it's been brick in London and they're warm asf

The brand is called "On Running" or just "On". The Cloud is just a range of styles from On, like the Cloud Monster, Cloud Nova, etc. There's also a second drop of the PAF collab coming for FW24 which is event better imo. Other than that I'm really looking forward the Watanabe 1906s cause they're not just a hybrid between sneaker sole and loafer upper but more a sneaker designed like a loafer.
