Hi Ken and Pam! So glad Ken got his shoes sorry about yours Pam. That fox was a sly fox getting away with your shoes. That campground looks nice. Beautiful scenery in Colorado. I love Colorado. There is such beautiful scenery there. How’s your daughter? Are you grandparents yet? I’m dying to hear. Love seeing the mountains. Is it snowing there yet? I hope you you a great weekend and week and see you soon! Safe travels. Love you both! ❤❤🤗🥰

Great review folks. What in your opinion would be the biggest rigs that could use the park As usual love the drone footage Safe travels folks 😊😊‼️
@TheRoadSMITHS3 ай бұрын
We actually saw some pretty big rigs there! There just aren’t as many of the bigger sites as the smaller ones. In Ranger Lakes, I’d guess you could easily get in there with 34’ RVs. Thanks so much!

Lovely aerial footage guys, really beautiful stuff. We've found that state and county parks are quite the power up for RV'ing. We stayed at some amazing ones this year and they tended to be bigger sites and less expensive. Thanks for the great video! Safe travels!!

Thank so much! Ken is really honing in on his skills! State and county parks are definitely our go to! Not only often roomier, but quieter, too! ☺️ Stay safe and enjoy your travels!

Thanks for the great info on this State Park. I've lived in CO nearly 3 decades, have been to many State Parks, and while I've always been aware of State Forest State Park, I didn't know much about it. Now I can't wait to check it out! While not the remotest part of the State, that area is certainly amongst the least visited. BTW, that area is known as North Park, not North "Fork". There are three geographical regions of Colorado known as the North, Middle and South Parks, but they are rarely identified that way on maps. North Park is the high valley "park" centered around Walden. I believe Middle Park is the valley areas from Winter Park through Granby to Kremmling (but this is the least referred to area of the three and I've never been really clear on its scope/boundaries), and South Park is the high valley area encompassing Fairplay, Hartsel, etc...and also the namesake of the South Park cartoon franchise.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes its absolutely stunning there. We have been loving our time here and look forward to visiting more parts of it as well. An suggestions from your travels in Colorado.

@@TheRoadSMITHS As you might surmise from my interest in State Forest State Park, I prefer less crowded locales...so sometimes I'm hesitant to share...but here a few. I see that you've already been through SW Colorado earlier this summer, but I'd encourage you to spend more time in both Ouray and Durango, but I'll leave some feedback in the comments for that video. The next time you definitely should get out to Mesa Verde NP, but also venture further west to Cortez and check out Canyons of the Ancients Natl Monument. It's not heavily visited but has some amazing canyon views and a lot of native American history and ruins (that are quite different than Mesa Verde). In NW Colorado, I've been wanting to check out Dinosaur Natl. Monument. U.S. 40 is not a heavily traveled highway west of Craig so only those choosing to travel that far west will see Dinosaur NM because you're not going to just stumble upon it. Also, once you get west of Maybell, either on U.S. 40 or State Rt 318, there are A LOT of wild horses in that part of NW Colorado.

The forest looks so healthy compared to some parts of Colorado. It looks so nice.

It did seem really healthy in that area! This pine beetles are awful and have caused so much destruction in the forests 🥲

Beautiful area! How'd did you guys do with the hurricane's coming through Florida? I'm looking forward to your comparisons after a summer with the smaller rig. We're sorta looking at an Outdoor RV but having a hard time justifying it when we have a nice RV already. Rock on RoadSmiths!! ps Congrats on a rockin' lil'girl!!

We were so thankful that Milton didn’t give us any real damage 🙏🏻 The surge for our area was only about 4 feet. It’s so heartbreaking seeing all the damage he did cause; as well as Helene 🥲 Thank you for checking on us! This travel year has indeed been different in this little rig and we will share the differences soon in a video…stay tuned 😉 Outdoor RV builds a solid rv, much like the Lance. Just go ahead and pull the trigger…so we won’t be the only ones with two RVs 😅 Thank you, she’s such a blessing and we are getting all the grandbaby snuggles we can 💖 Thanks guys, for your con support! Rockin’on 😄
