Neon tetras are so pretty but not Hardy fish at all . They always die . Ember tetras are my favorite .

I had one of my cardinals for 4 years bought as an adult. Best bet is to find ones you like being raised near you by a fellow hobbiest - better chance at healthy fish raised in water close to your own.

@@jawjagrrl Yeah . I have five neons had them for 4 months doing great but I did have 25 lost all of them except for 2 and baught 7 more and two of them died . But the five that are left are doing good..I'd like to get at least five more so they have a better school but I'd have to by 10 cause I know some would die .

Bought 8, 3 died cause the tiger barb ate em. Learn my lesson put em in seperate tank and add 5. Now 10 and thriving. Hope i can keep them alive
