Leffen can be a dick about a lot but he's one of the least bitchy top players when talking about banning controllers & mods lol. There are a shit ton of other melee players who can't go an hour without talking about controller related bans tho. Kinda just started tuning them out everytime it happens on stream. Nothing original is said about it anymore and they never do anything about it so it feels like mindless bitching. Almost hourly on stream it goes " _____ is cheating", "using ____ doesn't make me a cheater", and ends with "doesn't matter it would be too hard to ban ____." It's just not worth listening to.

those are actually different inputs, mX and mY. when you press a stick direction on a digital controller you get a max length stick input in that direction - mX and mY shorten that stick length on the respective axis so you can do things like walk and uptilt
