Whether the Lord created the world in 7 days or 7 billion years, it doesn’t really matter to me. We get a little too wrapped around the axel trying to prove that which doesn’t affect our eternal salvation. As a retired engineer, I have seen the results of big bangs and matter crashing together. Rapid disassembly is what we called it. It takes intelligence and forces beyond our current understanding to create a world with plants, animals and people. It is not one big accident. The big picture is what we should be concerned with. I believe eventually the Lord will reveal all truth. For now we get to live by faith and use the revealed truth and power of His spirit to Learn and do his will . Seek and ye shall find! Thank you for the video :-)

It matters! Even for the simple fact that the powers-that-be influencing the masses put out a lie, it matters. When the very foundations of your faith become shaken, and skeptics & non-believers call into question what should be basics, then believers start to question what they believe to avoid being singled out, isolated, and looking foolish. Besides, we have to be ready to give an account for what we believe, so that non-believers can see The Truth also.

We know dinosaurs existed yes, but i don't believe it in the way the man in the video is telling us. It tells us in the days of noah that the Sons of God sleep with woman, and created men of renown(Nephilim). Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. So the last days before the coming of christ will be just like in the days of Noah, this means that the men during the time of Noah were advanced like us, to the point where every wicked imagination in their heads, they thought to do it. Where they would create amalgamations, gene splicing, the animals that God created mixing and matching to create abominations that were not created by God, which is why they were not allowed on the Ark and had to be destroyed. In our time period people are doing the same things, gene splicing creating abominations, trying to create a true AI, etc. They will be caught off guard when the Lord returns.

I dreamed of dinosaurs as a child. I also dreamed about traveling to these moons in the outer solar system. I did not know there was a moon other than our own at that time. I was just a little kid and it was the 1970's. I also dreamed of leaving my body as a child and went to sleep lucidly knowing I was dreaming in my dreams. I could chose my adventure but with limits. God kept me from sinning in those dreams. Even in puberty I could not get the girl. I would wake up every time and today I am so grateful as it would have been lusting all the same especially because I knew I was dreaming and somewhat in control. God was with me all along helping me to pay attention to my conscience in the little things as sinning always made me feel sick in my stomach. There were times I tried to ignore it and I sinned. I never felt right about it and I am glad. It kept me from making a lot of mistakes worse than the ones I did make. I was blessed to meet my wife at age 15 and never to have dated anyone else. We married in our 20's and are still together 32 years later. We are closer today than we have ever been. The closer we come to the Lord the closer he brings us together. We have more love in us to love with today. God lifts us up in our marriage. We have had our marriage come under spiritual attacks and we both were blinded to believe lies about each other and our own selves even. In reality we had no problem with each other but the world around us was trying to tell us differently. Others were used in these attacks. God gave me dreams of the attacks and showed me where they were coming from. Not where I expected but I saw it so clearly when I did see it. God fixed everting as he brought us back to the place in our hearts that love unconditionally and keeps no score. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing. When we can be merciful and forgiving and empathetic to those who make mistakes and do us wrong we take on the character of Jesus and we take on his heart. Thank you for defending Gods word and reality that we all need to know if we are to thrive in the truth. It is important to know how we know what we know to say we believe. Believing is not taking anyone's word for it. It happened to me because God showed me he was real and loves me. I can not deny him in so many ways. I see him and evidence of him. I see him in the hearts of those who know him. I am surrounded by love. He is everywhere all the time. He knows my every thought and helps guide even my thoughts. The work of Dr Lisle and the team have opened up my eyes to my bible and helped me so much to be more sure of Gods word and how to defend it as well as share it.

I am 79 years old, gree up on a farm near Merweville in the Great Karoo, South Africa. As children we were so used to digging up dinosaurs, my.father always says we will find the skeletons after heavy rains in the dry little rivers. BUT WHAT my father told us... I believe is the real answer of what happened to the dinosaurs... My father said after a flood you can see all the dinosaurs lie with the heads in the same direction... From the west to the east....these little rivers ending up part of greater rivers... My father's explanation was that they died all in Noah's flood.. Because all the rivers eventually go through the mountains to the sea in the East.. Mossel bay ect.

@@randyswails761 You need to check your geography. The Garden of Eden was between the Tigres and Euphrates rivers which was in the middle east. Secular history records the cradle of civilization as Ancient Sumer where Ur the Chaldees was located. The truth is that at the Tower of Babel God confused the language of the people. Imagine waking up one morning and going to chat to your neighbor you could not understand each other. Then moving around a bit and finding people that you understand. That is what happened and the people that understood each other eventually banded together and travelled, migrating all over the world. That is why so many different cultures have similar stories of an ancient flood. The truth is there are many cradles of civilization as the people replenished and populated the earth.

If you accept this stuff as an actual answer, then I don't think you want the truth so much as you want your beliefs to be verified. The answer to your question regarding this issue is already out there, and I think you know this, but because it doesn't jive with what organizations like AiG tell you that you are supposed to believe, that answer is ignored. I'm not going to try and tell you whether or not God is real, but the idea that the Earth is a few thousand years old is utterly asinine. Many different fields of science have all independently come to the conclusion of an old Earth. They used actual science to do this while AiG decides what their conclusion is before they do any work and will only accept that conclusion, no exceptions. Even Ken Hamm himself said nothing would change his mind, no matter how strong the evidence.That is an incredibly dishonest way of doing things and it leads to them spreading nonsense like this. I hope you live many more years and at some point are able to overcome this dogmatism and see the real beauty of this planet that we live on.

I don’t believe everything in the Bible is literal, and I don’t believe the Earth is Young. The uniform rocklayers prove the Earth is old. Simple animals in the bottom layers… and more complex animals on the upper layers. And there are Zero examples of mixing of animals in the different layers (anywhere on the planet). So, if the layers were a result of the flood, like they claim, you would certainly see a mixture of animals within the different layers… Since this does not happen, not even once, it was not the flood that caused the layers. There’s no logical explanation i can reason to get around this fact.

Sadly this particular claim is bcoming a dividing line that some use to attach heresy on Christians which oppose that belief. Death was a known concept to Adam because he could see it in nature. To think animals didn't die before sin of Adam is without any serious biblical ground. Adam and Eve didn't die because in the garden of Eden was a tree of life. It was for them, not for every single mammal in entire world. This strange teaching is just a fraction of claims that demand leaving observation of the world around us and going into full speculation mode. What is great is that we are saved not by believing in these obscure teachings but by grace of our risen Lord Jesus Christ.

Tactics we see being used today like changing the definition of the word recession.. But whose to say for certain those horse creatures didnt exist as well. Richard Owen coined the word Dinosaur (originally Dinosauria) in 1841 and it originates from two greek words deinos - terrible, powerful, wondrous and sauros - lizard. The Appalachian Mountains are continuously uplifted alluvial shale and limestone deposits millions of years old. As they slowly rise, they are exposed to erosion processes. Using your maths, early settlers would have seen mountains 1500 feet higher than now, so how is it that nobody noticed 3000 foot mountains shrink to 1200. p.s. Weight ain't a factor.

I like the idea of dinosaurs. The sound the scientist recreated from the Parasaurolophus horn (or whatever they call it) kind of sounds like a trumpet. Imagine just hearing the sounds those creatures made along with birds and insects and the wind all at once. A lovely harmony God made some beautiful creatures. I'm sure they're all up there with Him.

Your god claim makes no testable hypothesis. In fact your objection invalidates your claims as well. Since you don't know what happened years ago either. Of course, science does increase our knowledge about what happened years ago. It can tell you when the last 40 Haley's comet appearances happened. It can tell you how stars and planets formed and that stars are required for planet formation. Something the bible gets wrong. If you want to cherry pick and misinterpret the evidence to suit your beliefs, it is not the way to truth. This is the AIG playbook. I watched a show about 2 years ago where they were looking at a hilly range with a huge gorge cut through it. The hills were sediment layers and you could see the obvious transition at the ground level where the ground was and the hill started. It was evident that the hill was not there originally when it was pointed out. What the explination of the gorge was, a lake that was formed that broke through the surrounding soil it was inside of that basically plowed out the gorge, and within hours, it went from a solid land mass to a hilly region with a gorge in it. The hilly region was obviously quickly established on top of the existing ground, it dried but upstream from the gorge was a large open area as if a lake that became to heavy for the surrounding sediment to continue supporting. It gave way and the lake was released revealing the evidence of the land under the recently deposited sediment. The obvious answers are there if you're willing to admit them.

The model that I have played with is the advanced/ compression time model. Similar to when doctor strange moved the time stone and hyper aged the apple. It would solve the star light reaching earth issue (that is when they use the light of distant stars to calculate age based on loght speed). The compression would have stopped somewhere around the last days of creation. It's a personal solution, I practically invent my own solutions. I can do this, because I have enough proof to believe that now I can just tinker with the other hard to explain things. It's fun. And besides, there are like three/ two authorities based in ancient text that are worth taking seriously. The rest don't care how you live= they don't care= not a threat to me.

@@joshuakohlmann9731 I wouldn't be surprised if it's not too far fetched as some people would think, carefully read what I am presenting here I see a lot of similarities between what we learn in schools and the bible, it just depends on when they draw the line in their perception of time. Since we did have megafauna get killed off, even the ones tracing back to the ice age, I wouldn't be surprised if there were mammals even bigger than us (or reptilians far smaller and better adapted that is still considered massive to our perspective) that survived in the Jurassic-Triassic (4th extinction) later either survives or gets killed off in the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction and then the ice age (which is considered a smaller event and not part of the 6th massive extinction process) and later on to the early human civilizations and gets killed off. Keep in mind in my perspective would be the other 3 extinction and those millions of years of the process sped up in the perspective of a divine being completely omniscience, omnipotence, and omnibenevolence outside of our 3 dimensional view and short lifespan into 7 days of creation, being right on in the middle of the process of the 5th day. Would be where the Jurassic and Triassic and the time afterwards could occur, in the 5th day quoting this below " And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning-the fifth day." The bible simplistically says creation which is defined as, "the action or process of bringing something into existence" so even the two most recent extinction eras, the Jurassic-Triassic AND the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction can be the process of creation that has led to ultimately the 5th, 6th, and 7th day of creation. Before you discard what I'm saying, keep in mind we literally have sharks, Reptiles such as Alligators and crocs, and the legendary Horseshoe crab still living among us in this earth, which means large reptiles, survivors of the Two massive extinctions I mentioned and the ice age just to live among us humans during the bible and early civilizations globally (just 5 times smaller than their ancestors or so) which is still thousands of years ago from today and wayyyyyy in BC (Before Christ) that they eventually got hunted off, which kinda mirrors today how our elephants and Rhinos are diminishing due to our actions as a result of Climate change (which keep in mind, played a pivotal role in all 6th massive extinction events and the life on earth) and we lost so many species like giant sloths very recently, which was only 11,000 years ago and other larger forms of megafauna and fauna due to the increase in CO2 levels. There's not enough evidence to disprove Christianity as a whole as there are a lot of evidence that supports it or against it depending on the view we have on how we see evidence, which may make your quote a double edge sword where in fact maybe it's even the opposing side that's doing the very thing your quote suggests. The pastor is right when he says we aren't the only fishers of men, even social media today and right now is still suppressing those they don't agree, despite it looking like they aren't, it all depends on perspective.

I fear you engaged in character assassination against scientists and effectively bore false witness against them. This effort is to protect the belief that the Bible cannot be wrong or in error when that is not necessary. You can avoid the desire to disregard the evidence regarding the formation of the universe and life on earth if you realize that neither of those things discount God. The evidence only highlights that our ancestors were far less aware of the totality creation than we are and our decendents will be aware of more than we are today. Of course, when we want something to be true we look to justify our assumptions when we should start with the evidence not the conclusion. Would we want a detective to disregard evidence that we were innocent of a crime because he started with the assumption we were guilty?

Here are some key scientific facts that support the theory of evolution: Fossil Record: The fossil record provides evidence of the history of life, showing a progression from simple to more complex forms. It includes transitional fossils that demonstrate the evolution of one species into another. Biogeography: The distribution of species across the planet reflects their evolutionary history. For example, species on islands often resemble those of the nearest continent, suggesting they share common ancestors. Comparative Anatomy: Homologous structures, which are similar in different species due to shared ancestry, support the idea of evolution. For instance, the forelimbs of humans, whales, and bats have different functions but share a common structural framework. Molecular Biology: DNA and the genetic code reflect the shared ancestry of life. Comparisons of DNA sequences among different species show how closely related they are, providing evidence for common descent. Direct Observation: Evolution can be observed on smaller scales, such as the development of antibiotic resistance in bacteria or changes in the characteristics of species over generations due to natural selection I'm a religious person as well as spiritual in my faith in God, but i also believe in science. We cant just disregard scientific studies from so many people around the world.

@alantasman8273
@alantasman8273 Жыл бұрын
Not just change in diet. Have you ever seen the small nostrils dinosaurs had to provide oxygen to their massive bodies. Fossilized tree sap aka amber has been found to contain bubbles that when analyzed have proven that our earlier atmosphere was comprised of much higher levels of oxygen in the past. This may explain how massive dinosaurs were able to breath and obtain the oxygen necessary to keep them alive. It also would explain how creatures such a dragonflies and other creatures grew to much larger proportions in the past...even though anatomically they were still cousins of the dragonflies of today.

If I tell you how these peoples simple request to live in a separate country from Islamists (whom want to steal their lands) get refused through the mud of UN, EU, US paper pushing agencies, partially because we the public cannot stand up to rich whom benefit from their children's death, how can we call ourselves followers of purity and light, Jesus? I thank you for explaining creationism very well to me, as a taxonomist I can confirm that a few animals would be enough as variations do exist easily and that thanks to Biafra I learned the great lie we are told through the media on a daily basis as some like to adjust the truth to their benefit. Biafra taught me that Evil exists and how they dealt with certain flu confirmed my suspicion. So, if Evil does exist, so must the opposite, the goodness in us which I hope will prevail. The story of Beowulf is talks about the monster Grendl. The lineage of kings given in the story of Beowulf is accurate. See the book, After the Flood by Bill Cooper, Appendix 9, The Historical Characters of Beowulf. Grendl was probably a T Rex. See chapter 11 of the same book. They killed Grendl by chopping off his arm. T Rex walked more parallel to the ground rather than upright. You would attack it by running underneath it, chopping off its front leg and letting it bleed to death.

First of all, great video. I always thought the dinosaur's were a post fall creation. My reasoning is just because I happen to be familiar with it in the book of Enoch in 7:5 "And they (the fallen angels) began to sin against birds, and against animals, and against reptiles, and against fish, and they devoured one another’s flesh, and drank the blood from it." I get that the book of Enoch is not labelled as canon but my reason for thinking that the dino's (or dragons) were post fall creations is because they are the results of the fallen angels sinning against the reptiles. If sin against means to lay carnally with then that is possibly why that they were so huge. We know the giants (Nephilim) were big, they are the result of the fallen angels mating with human women. So I applied that logic to the dinosaurs being the result of fallen angel/reptile cross breeding. I like it as it is interesting but I admittedly have not had the time to read the whole book to see if it says something else or not. I like this video as well, though what I like does not matter because when or why something came to be doesn't matter as much as the Gospel which is THE TRUTH on why we as humanity needed a Savior, who is Christ Jesus our Lord, who lived, died and rose again for our justification. @@reclusiarchgrimaldus1269 My philosphy on life is the following: We should be living to better future generations. It's one of the biggest reasons I'm not very religious. I feel that the promise of a life after death makes life meaningless for us in terms of trying to better the world for future generations. The knowledge of not having anything after we leave this world should be enough to keep us spurred on to make the world a better place for those who come after us. The knowledge would be passed on to those who come after us. Think of it this way: it's what people always have done. Teaching our children, helping them grow as a person until they are ready to leave the nest. It's no different than any other living creature. My point is it's the idea of a spirit that carries on after we're gone that keeps us from making the world a better place. The reward for living a life well lived should be the knowledge that the people who come after you will be all the better for what you've done. People can be very narrow minded in their beliefs. One needs to looks at all the differing world veiws and belief systems and see them for what they are and are not at the same time--not on a factual or fictional basis, but for their pros and cons on a personal and scocietal level, without actually adhering to any particular one while also not outright rejecting any particular one. If everyone thought along those lines, the world would be a much better place and humanity would be all the better for it. The more i think about why various worldveiws or beliefs cut out points of their teachings the more i wonder if it will be detrimental to those groups for maintaning their followers in the long run. I guess from a standpoint of maintaining power, removing aspects that don't fit your agenda is a good way to do it. Back in those days religion had more power in controling scociety than government. It may be the other way around nowadays, but the technique is still the same. Like how Hitler burned books to limit knowledge that would conflict with his agenda, or how Russia bans a lot of website IP addresses so that the masses don't get to see the actual things Putin does and they keep beleiving their fake news since it's all they see and have access to. Even the US does this with how both Demacrats and Republicans use a voting system that makes it so that 99% of the population have an effectively 0% impact on federal policy while simultainiously making it practically impossible for a third party to come in and revise the system. The lesson to take away is that there is no single correct answer when it comes to personal beliefs. The moment you close off your mind to other ideas with cognitive dissonance and forsake open dialouge, the conversation is rendered pointless and the person has already lost.
