Thank you very much indeed for this very interesting video Very interesting discussion from 1:10 about the cabinet design and construction A 2" front baffle its a lot ... then i see from the specs a weight of 46.2 lb/each (!!!) This is a lot indeed It seems to me that high weight is usually beneficial for good sound ? thanks again and kind regards, gino

I've said this in another video comment section, but other than being designed by Andrew Jones what's special or different about this speaker, especially to justify an almost 4k price tag. Unless I'm missing something it's just another coaxial speaker in a box with a unique looking front baffle.

At least you are getting a thick cabinet and extra technology in the baffle designs. Most cheap Chinese don't have those advantages and others not from China have huge markups.

I only heard them with the BAT. They should be pretty amp agnostic and also you need to factor in price. What else in that price point would you prefer?

While I would buy a competent speaker made in China, I would wait for a sizable discount. It may take some time but eventually, it comes available. I would say domestic made speakers from any country may follow a similar pattern but the discount is usually smaller or the inventory too low to warrant a big enough discount although I have my sights on a few speakers made in Europe. Perhaps down the road. I recently bought a Dali Opticon 1 for half of its original retail from 2016 as i was looking for a small speaker that likely would perform well in one of my rooms and jumped on it as it was the last one in stock. While the finish is nothing to write home about, it looks fine, has the sensitivity, efficiency and SQ within the parameters I set. Case in point. At full price...no. The new model is even higher and...no. I have a list of speakers and amps to consider if and when they become available at a lower price, whether a model change or second hand. That's how I do it. Then flipping isn't so damaging to the wallet.
