I have owned 3 different MK1 MR2's. As it was setup from the factory, you had to seriously mis-handle or drive stupidly to get the car to misbehave....but maybe that was the problem, it was so easy to drive to limit that you had more opportunity to go over it. BTW - for small car, it had a very strong frame, had a friend in a scary wreck with one and protected her quite well.

I’ve had an SW20 MR2 turbo for 24 years now and only had snap oversteer happen in the beginning. It’s a car to have fun in and to learn from in my opinion. (Reliable too).

It was never available in the US so it wouldnt make this list but the ford capri 3.2l fastback was deadly. You needed to fill the boot with concrete to make it handle as the back end was way to light for the power. Many of them took off from slip roads and even more spun out. A failed attempt by ford to make a muscle car for the UK market.

i'll take a Cobra and a 2nd gen Viper all day. Im use to driving my C5 with TC off so i think i can handle both cars. even if they are more then i can handle so long as 1 i dont die and 2 the car still runs and drives i think i can learn to handle them

I just wish everyone would STOP HATING the PINTO/BOBCAT and CORVAIR. They both are adorable small/smallish cars from the 1970's that where decent on Fuel Milage. So a couple (few) blowed-up after being rear-ended... Fault to the Following Vehicle for following too close to start with. At least (at the time) they where not TEXTING while driving! I'd love to get my hands on a Pinto Hatchback (with better bumpers and a Fuel Cell) and install a newer ECOBOOST with the 10-Speed Auto Transmission, replace the Rear End with a Disc 9" rear and convert to 5-lug Rotors (all 4 corners) and some SWEET 1995 SVT COBRA 5-Spoke 17" Wheels. Good Luck finding the Hatchback Pinto for a reasonable price that is clean... I guess I will continue to enjoy (slowly) my 2020 Toyota Yaris Sedan! 😟

Okay I am giving away my age here. My best friend had a brand new Pinto which was driven for 7 years and 225,000 miles. I guess that we were lucky that we were never rear-ended in the car. If so I wouldn't be here 40+ years later to recount our experience with the Pinto.

I'm 50 thus year and test drove a 930 turbo when I was like 25 I thought that the dealer was going to piss his pants going into a tight turn at already high speed not knowing slow in fast out Porsche motto yet and bam hello turbo was lucky enough to pull off but Damm did that tail slide I have owned a mr2 spyder since new in 2001 have only had 1 snap experience hit ice at low speed there it went in dry condition the snap hasn't happened to me yet even in hard slide
