Ugh, I hate people who say they are “sapiosexual” and are “attracted to the mind.” That is literally majority of people. You are attracted to looks first, then you go on a few dates to get to know the person, and either grow more attracted, or lose all attraction. Their personality is what makes or breaks the attraction. The personality is literally determined by the brain and how that person thinks. So I just think the whole “sapiosexual” thing is silly and just another way for people to feel like they’re “different” than everyone else. Because really truly, if she were only attracted by intelligence, then she would be ok with marrying an ugly guy because his intelligence would make him look more attractive in her eyes… I guess the only way to know is to see her dating history and the types of guys she’s into. I call bs tho. You can’t truly only be attracted to the brain unless you can prove you’ve dating some 1’s and 2’s.

It makes me more confident and it seems that people take me seriously because I look more mature and I feel that I can dominate the discussion and be noticed. I feel accepted among women who have all things in life in order. Nails, when they cross a certain limit, start to become a competition for girls. Girls do their nails to show that they are well-groomed. Nose Rings are to look different, tougher.It's more to reject people and especially men. In order not to look beautiful considering that it is stupid for them to look good for a man. That's usually why girls do it.

Tbh I know that a LOT of girls want to be taller. Many get teased by guys saying "shortie" or "you're so short" and it can inadvertently be quite demeaning and make the lady insecure. A lot of beautiful models on magazines are tall. Lots of women are insecure about their legs, and heels make them look longer. Hells can make women feel powerful just by being a bit taller. And I'd say the biggest reason a lot women wear heels is because they're super cute and can complete almost any outfit. So whether a lady decides to wear heels or not, it's just personal preference. Flat shoes are just as valid as heels (but definitely better for your feet.) EDIT: I thought about this after I commented but heels also can just make a woman feel really feminine by accentuating and dramatacizing their silhouette.

7:40 Heels help people stand more straight. People think wearing heels hurt, but it is not the heel that's the problem. In my opinion, it's the arch at the back that hurts because it causes friction when walking. This arch is present in shoes like pumps or flats. People like wearing them because of the look, but it also makes them LOOK more mature, taller, and even wealthier.

Just wanted to add a point about the heels When you wear heels, your heels (foot) are elevated of the ground. About the "pretty boys aren't smart"... I went through electrical engineering school and worked in semiconductors. Most of the highly intelligent men I have known and worked with were not super attractive. When you've been up for 18 hours studying/working, and have been doing that for days just to either pass your classes or meet project deadlines, you're probably not eating a great diet, working out regularly, or--obviously--getting sufficient sleep. These things impact your looks. Most people who prioritize their social life and physical (and honestly mental) health either don't stay in difficult majors or choose easier routes within their major (e.g. easier professors, easier electices, and easier jobs out of school.) Again, not everyone, just the majority of what I saw during my 5 years in engineering school and 2 years working in the semiconductor industry.

@@shubuman Its fashion brainwashing. You can see all the comments from women saying they like heels because "they make me feel good/i get a confidence boost wearing them." Its because in the fashion industry the beautiful women are wearing them so the non model population are brainwashed/propagandized into thinking they are more attractive than flat shoes. There is no practical reason that they make you look more attractive. Men are NOT attracted to tall women on average. Making yourself taller makes you quite literally less attractive on average. The best explaination I hear is changing the angle of the foot alters the shape of the legs and butt to make you look more toned but I call BS on that too. The muscles in use when on your tip toes are NOT in use when you are putting your weight on your heel, just because its elevated. Walking on your tip toes those muscles will be flexed, walking normally on your heels is a minimal difference at best. Its basically the fashion industries placebo effect. You tell women they are more attractive so they believe it even though on average men say it isnt. Same deal with the fake nails but thats a whole different issue...

I get being attracted to the mind. I wouldn't group myself there but I rarely find myself attracted to people who are conventionally super attractive. Sure they're hot but they're genuinely not my type and I think attractiveness is much more than looking hot. I'm really into cute and androgynous people and people with an alternative style. I get the whole oh pretty boys aren't smart because they don't need to be, they're already good looking so they have an easy life. But at the end of the day it's just an assumption we have thanks to media and it's silly to judge people based on that.

7:39 Nooo, most girls want to look taller. I don't know where that assumption that we want to look shorter came from, probably because guys like girls that are shorter than them usually, but that doesn't matter, most of us still want to feel taller. We don't even do it for guys. Just like how some guys think that being super buff is good, but a lot of girls actually don't like it THAT buff, and you would still do it anyway if it makes you feel better. This is just the female version of it

The girl telling the guy he's feminine just 🤯. WTF is she talking about? Did I miss something? I'm gay and didn't see anything feminine about him

Women rank men all the time. I was with women from the HR department and their normal verbal guard was down due to alcohol. They started talking about “the list”. This turned out to be a surprisingly detailed, sorted list of all the men in the business. Purely looks-based. These were women in their 50s ranking men of all ages. They had obviously spent a lot of time on it. It was pretty funny. When I informed them there was no equivalent list for women, they didn’t believe me.

can confirm as a woman high heels SUCK and are very painful. idek why they're held to such high esteem, specifically in business/professional scenarios, they're so incredibly uncomfortable
@calichick8530 Жыл бұрын
will add however that the ones you commented on that the blond woman in the video is wearing probably aren't as bad, the heels are thicker which makes them less uncomfortable to wear (more stability, your feet aren't fighting for their lives trying to hold yourself still and stabilize yourself like with normal heels or super skinny stiletto heels)

What i like about heels (besides that i`m pretty small and they make me tall) that they make my legs and figure look better. i think some extra muscles flex when you wear heels and somehow your legs look better (in my experience)

its so funny cuz right before u commented about the girls heeled boots I was thinking about how I liked them LOL. Its different for everyone some girls wanna look taller and have longer legs im already tall tho and I still like them it just looks more feminine and pretty than just ur average flat shoe tho there is still a balance between practicality and heels it just depends on the occasion its for or your lifestyle like I love heels and I would 100% wear them if I get the right opportunity but I also walk a shit ton so then Ill prioritize comfort for that and just in general I won't wear something that I dont want to get ruined

I don't really wear high heels, instead I wear my high heeled boots. I like to wear them, because they give me more confidence and it helps with my posture and makes my legs look nice and long... It isn't for men I just feel good wearing them and the ones I wear are actually really comfortable.

So to answer the nails and heals question. The nails are for me, I enjoy the sound they make when tapping on something, every surface makes a different sound. As far as heals I don't wear them, but I do wear boots that give me an extra 2-3 inches, as I'm 5 foot, so I can reach more things, and everyone isn't always looking down at me.

I ask the same question? wtf do you wanna wear high heels, what's the point. You'd either always trip and get hurt or just embarrass yourself. And worst of all It's immensely painful. you'd get blisters all over your feet. just why???
@deziiluv Жыл бұрын
The point of heels isn't just height, but more elongating the legs since long legs r seen as attractive.

“Steele says that wealthy women in the courts began wearing heeled shoes to achieve some of the social benefits they accrued. However, women’s shoes had taller, thinner heels than those of their male counterparts. Steele says this is likely because people thought they made women’s feet and bodies look more feminine. The heels changed a woman’s silhouette, which some men found alluring, so they became associated with women’s sexuality. “Women’s bodies have always been sexualized, and heels began to be associated with female eroticism,” she says. “This is when men abandoned the heel for more practical flat boots, but women continued to wear them.”
