The circumstances are tragic and miserable, but knowing him I’m sure he’d get a huge kick out of you making a whole video about him. This happens all the time. There was a Rock Band in Canada called "The Tragically Hip" that had a pretty good following. The lead singer, Gord Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, no way to cure it. So for the fans that supported them through the years they decided to have a farewell concert tour so that the band and the fans could come together one last time. But some miserable shit stained human beings used bots to buy up the tickets the instant they went on sale. They then tried to resell them at 3 or 4 times their original price. They figured that you'd pay the extra money to see Downie one last time while they made a lot of money off of a dying man.

To bring a lighter note to this, it is clear that Techno knew that his possible death would generate a lot of attention. If you see his new merch drop, it features a variety of clothes with "gg ez 1999-2022" written on it, with all of the proceeds going to charity for research into the type of cancer he succumbed to. I think he made this merch have this tone to it on purpose. He even made remarks that he could have click baited this situation more in the first video where he revealed his ailment (less than a year ago...). Though what is happening is disrespectful as all hell, I know if Technoblade was here, he would laugh at these guys and not even care. That being said, I hate people who exploit tragedies like this, I personally was a big Techno fan and I thought he was going to recover when he made that second video on his recovery. I was heartbroken when I saw the news, I along with millions of other fans broke down crying, he really was an inspiration to many. Seeing this happen so bluntly, where people lie to gain views, makes my blood boil. Though I think that if Techno were to see this, he would tell us to keep our head up and move on, and not pay attention to these commoners. EDIT: Since a lot of people took the time to read this comment, I am going to put all the ways in which you could send condolences to Techno's family, and even donate to sarcoma research down below. When Tecnoblade’s dad announced his death I couldn’t believe how sad I was. I spent the next 5 days watching that video and thinking about it as I couldn’t get over how such a kind person died so young. In February of this year, one of my college friends was murdered on her way to my house. Her untimely passing was absolutely heartbreaking. When I found out about Techno earlier this month, I was heartbroken for him and his family and friends and what they must be going through. Losing someone who was in your life very often leaves you feeling like you've lost a piece of yourself, and every moment without them in any situation they should be in with you creates a void nothing can fill. Anyone who's lost someone they love in their lives knows this. These people profiting off of his death are either psychopaths/sociopaths, soulless, or just plain corrupt. My university actually trying to support my friend's parents and put out their own tributes to her and her memory were still sometimes hurtful to those of us who truly knew her because it was a constant reminder that she was gone. That said, I also understood that they were doing it to honor her memory. If the school were to make profits from her death, the people in charge of that would be disgusting human beings. Here on the internet, it's no different. These people preying on viewers, and Techno's friends, family, and his memory, are deplorable for using and manipulating someone's image while he's not even here to defend himself. I hope he truly is resting in peace in a beautiful Minecraft house in the sky, and I can only hope that these reprehensible people get what they deserve.

This happens all the time. There was a Rock Band in Canada called "The Tragically Hip" that had a pretty good following. The lead singer, Gord Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, no way to cure it. So for the fans that supported them through the years they decided to have a farewell concert tour so that the band and the fans could come together one last time. But some miserable shit stained human beings used bots to buy up the tickets the instant they went on sale. They then tried to resell them at 3 or 4 times their original price. They figured that you'd pay the extra money to see Downie one last time while they made a lot of money off of a dying man.

Thanks for addressing it. I've been watching Techno on and off for about 6 years, especially during quarantine. I always have a healthy separation between real life and content creators, but for some reason this one really hurts, it's not just "My condolences, it's a shame he's gone" kind of feeling. I haven't really watched any Minecraft creators other than him, last I did it was back in the days SkyDoesMinecraft was making videos like cops and robbers and parkour maps. When I read the title I really hoped it meant he'd just be leaving KZbin, saying he hasn't got the energy or something or perhaps he ended up having to actually have his arm be amputated or something... then I hoped that when his dad started reading the note Techno would jump in somewhere in the "If you're watching this, I am..." and say something like "COMPLETELY CANCER FREE, I'VE BEATEN IT, LETS GOOO, weekly uploads starting soon, I've been wanting to get back to making content for so long for you" but no, reality kicked in and the next word ended up being "dead". It really sucks. Anyway sorry for my rant, I doubt anyone will actually read this.

I used to be friends with ItsOwen back in 2016 when he had like 1K subs. I found him through Morgz when he was a very small youtuber also. Owen will do anything for views. I mean *anything.* I've talked to him about it in Twitter DMs after he passed around 100K subs, he would make misleading titles and I questioned him. He told me he'll do anything to get views and subs fast, because he knows KZbin doesn't enforce their rules. That's what he told me and I mean... he ain't wrong. I still don't support what he does. It's a shame KZbin has been allowing stuff like this for years. KZbin has put this in trending so a KZbin staff has seen this and probably won't do anything about it (as usual).
